It’s a hotel in a very old building. It’s like living in a big house with your family- warm and friendly. You will hear when people come home late and go to bed. Very comfortable bed. Very friendly staff and helpful. Nice breakfast. Close to city, restaurants, shopping. And a perfect parking in front of the hotel for the car. Also place for parking your bicycle safe.

I really liked this small hotel. My room was spacious and clean. I liked the decor and the bed was comfortable. I was over the main street, but the room was quiet and the view was pretty - with vines growing and leaves changing colors. Breakfast room looked nice, coffee was good. I walked to/from the train station and had an easy time getting to all the sights. I'd stay there again.

My shower floor was a little yucky - the paint had peeled up so it didn't look so good.

The location is excellent. 10 min on foot from the Arena, parking (payed) on the street, drive-out about the corner, but the place is still rather quiet. The room is small but good, the beds are comfortable, very clean. The owner is very welcomming.

The toilet is tiny. I could not seat stright, and I'm only 1.65 m high. The entrance to the shower is really tight, you have to turn to enter.

The owner, Allan, speaks English (and several other languages!) He is very accommodating and helpful. When I needed breakfast earlier than the noted times, it was no problem. Breakfast is plentiful, with variety and very satisfying! The hotel shows its age some and that's what I loved about it: it dates to 1830! And even though it's "only" a 2-star hotel, Allan decorates it with the dignity such a building deserves. I loved it when I walked into my room to see the vintage furniture (no Ikea here:) and a bathroom sink big enough for toiletries and makeup! Air conditioner works great! It took a few minutes for the hot water to reach my 3rd floor room, but once it gets there, it's hot, plentiful and fine water pressure. The hotel is situated in front of a lovely canal, a stone's throw from the Rhone River, and a 5 minute walk from a major bus stop, Clemenceau, that takes you to the train station for one euro. Nearby are several good restaurants. With the door entry code, you come and go as you please. Any problem: Allan answers the phone immediately. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there!

The property is in the perfect location, next to one of the most picturesque neighbourhoods of Arles. The room was extremely clean and the staff nice and welcoming despite us arriving later than expected. Free parking is available right behind the hotel.

The room is a bit small and the toilet takes many attempts to properly flush.

Friendly and helpful host, fabulous breakfast (at extra cost), good location in walking distance of the town centre.

The en suite bathroom was a little bit cramped and could do with a makeover in the fairly near future.

Location was very good for cyclists on EV8. Old property but very clean, with good bed. Breakfast (additional cost) was good value. Manager was very helpful.

Had to lift our bicycles up steps to store inside.

I really liked this hotel even though we moved to 3 different rooms, one the toilet did not work, two had been pre booked by another couple. I needed google translate to barrow an extension cord… generally nice rooms, clean and comfortable

The little things that didn’t work

The hotel has character, is well sited to walk the historic sites of Arles and the owner was helpful at all times. The parking was adequate.

The bathroom could have been more modern.

Lovely old-style building with lots of character, close to the town centre. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We were there in the off-season so a lot of eateries were closed, but breakfast is available at the property. The bus to Ste Marie in La Camargue stops just a couple of minutes from the guesthouse.
