Beautifully located in the hills of st Jean de Luz with magnificent views. Apartments are ideal for the self catering needs of a family but with the niceties of a hotel (room service and daily cleaning). The stand out has to be the infinity pool ..it was the perfect spot to take in those views.

The other side of being on a hill is that you need to be being a shopping list as it is quite the hike up and down to the shops! It would be great if the hotel rented bikes so we could do a few quick trips when needed. Also a minor point but it would be great to have a clothes horse to for wet towels and swimsuits. It took from our lovely balcony view a bit when 5 people started hanging their towels and swimming gear on the railings!

the view is great and since this is not their peak period, the hotel was quiet

I would rate this hotel exceptional if it wasnt for the smoking. I had a main floor room with a terrace. I prefer to keep the patio door open for air. the hotel has no smoking in the rooms but clients can smoke on their terrace. the next door person was smoking and the smoke and smells was coming in to my room. I do not support that and I was forced to close my patio door.

A beautiful hotel set in stunning surroundings with views of the sea. Our family room was large and had everything we needed although no milk with the tea and coffee making facilities, but I’m sure if we had asked we would have been provided with some. Beds were big and very comfortable, lots of storage space, good sized bathrooms and a fridge & safe in each room. Everywhere was clean and tastefully decorated. All the staff were very helpful and very friendly and those we dealt with spoke excellent English. The continental breakfast was delicious, varied and plentiful. The weather could have been better, but we took full advantage of the pools and loungers with exceptional views. We were only sorry that due to our travel plans elsewhere we were only able to stay one night.

Great location and amazing long and deep pool. . Good restaurant with good food. However we have struggled to order when we’re dining second time .

The biggest minus is very poor buffet for breakfast. It is ridiculous to pay almost 400 euro a night in a big hotel and get only so limited choice . We would stay longer than 2 nights would be very frustrating.

Location is fantastic food excellent and our room looked out onto the garden and pool area all in all a lovely setting.

Minor nuisances of noisy kids on one of the days 8 euros for a bottle of water is way too high Breakfast staff could be a little more proactive in assisting with things like the coffee machine and bread and toasting area

Excellent hotel on the cliff tops of St Jean de Luz. Lovely walk down hill by the sea - 40 minutes into the town or in the other direction along the clifftops to the Botanical Garden. Free Parking. Very nice pool - we had the pool to ourselves with it being slightly rainy day 😀

Enjoyed everything

This was an apartment on the grounds and a little maybe unused it seemed, though it had a pretty good view of the sea. The room had a good terrace in the shade.

the 'walk' to the town centre was down hill and very steep uphill back - about 20 mins walk. Perhaps a shuttle bus service would help as we hired a car due to the heat.

We absolutely loved our night in this hotel. The restaurant was fully booked for our stay so we walked into the town (25 minutes) and had dinner at La Boëte, the best restaurant we have enjoyed in 40 days of touring Spain, Portugal and France.

A lovely resort type hotel away from the centre of town with great parking. Great location and lovely reception staff.

The restaurant for dinner had pretentious food not well cooked and it was extremely expensive. We wished we had eaten at one of the great restaurants in town.

High quality accommodation with lovely gardens and beautiful views over the sea. Really helpful and friendly staff who gave great recommendations for places to eat in St Jean de Luz.
