Hotel and room was lovely and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room location was great, nicely tucked away. Although we don't believe we were giving the room we originally booked as we had thought we were getting two bedrooms but it was in fact a bedroom and then a sofa bed in the living area. Location of hotel was good and easy to find. It also had underground parking. Good value for money too.

The front of the hotel is situated opposite a supermarket car park which seems to attract young people hanging around. This might be a little intimidating to some people. The hotel staff keep a strict eye on it though and reassured us that they never have any problems from them, which we saw for ourselves.

The location was excellent in the centre of town but on a quiet road. We had a brand new room which was brand new. What was exceptional was the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. They could not do enough for us. Breakfast was a perfectly adequate continental self-service.

The shower needs some adjustment to prevent leakage into the bathroom, and this was being attended to when we left.

A comfortable hotel in the centre of Saumur with excellent safe storage facilities for bicycles. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful at all times even though the hotel was very busy with visitors attending the annual Velo Vintage Festival. There was a good selection of food each morning arranged buffet style. The hotel is thoroughly recommended for a weekend stay or if following one of the many national cycle routes through Saumur.

Maybe a hot food option including boiled eggs for the buffet breakfast.

Room location was great very accessible to everything and very quiet. Loved being able to get to the spa area in the bathrobes that were on loan to us with a bag to carry our belongings that was very well thought out.

We should have stayed a bit longer our purpose was to attend the Cavalrie Museum and the Tank Museum. We loved the town and the people we met were great.

Google maps took us straight to the hotel. There was secure parking opposite the front entrance. Very comfortable room, all very clean. Kettle in the room which was good to make a drink. Apparently a lift is being put in over the winter. Plenty of the usual continental breakfast. Very handy location to walk round the centre of Saumur with no shortage of restaurants. Used as an en route overnight stop, it would be a good location for several nights to explore the area more.

Nice rooms and facilities and central location.

many unannounced extra costs: parking, swimming pool, 12 eur for the pet is above normal and reasonable levels. The hotel could be more clear about this in the prospect. Many such unpleasent surprises colour the otherwise good stay negatvely.

We were disappointed that we were not informed in advance that the car park was out of use and we had to park about 400metres away.

The central position. It was comfortable and clean and the staff very helpful also in indicating where to go.

So many stairs ( I had hurt my knee.) There are few dedicated parking spaces. I wish I had booked this in advance. There is ample public parking nearby however.

Well located in centre of Saumur close to restaurants and shops. Room was comfortable but small. Breakfast was decent value with a good choice. The guy on reception (sorry I cant remember his name) was very helpful in allowing me to park my Motorcycle in the underground garage even though it was a temporary building site. He showed where to park safely.

The whole apartment was beautifully decorated with great attention to detail in the finishing touches: cushions, throws, mirrors, paintings, ornaments, occasional tables, rugs etc. All mod cons as expected: wi-fi, air con, tv in living room & bedroom. A great array of equipment in the kitchen. Lovely walk-in shower room & separate toilet. The rooms were spacious and light. We have been to Saumur several times - this is the best apartment we have stayed in.

No negatives to report; all was perfect.
