Friendly staff, it's also possible to securely store your bicycle in the basement. The room itself was fine, if just a little bit aged, and nice that the shower and the toilet in the room are separated. I shared the dormitory with one other person so there was plenty of space.

You have to be aware that the accomodation is quite far from Strasbourg, this can be clearly seen from the given address and shouldn't be a surprise (this is also not the accommodation's fault). I was with a bicycle and it was no problem to get to/from Strasbourg centre. The shower worked fine but the shower head was leaking.

Pros: Covered all the basics well. Friendly staff, welcoming environment. Nice seating area and bar. Hostel felt safe: gates outside and locks on doors. Good value for money.

Cons: Weird shower: had to keep pressing the button and couldn't regulate temperature. Location 10 mins from tram stop but the walk was in a very empty space with car parks, didn't feel completely safe walk, didn't feel safe going out after dark.

Much quieter than we were expecting at night for such a big hostel with lots of young people staying. The surrounding park was very nice and you can even walk across a bridge to Germany! Very reasonably priced for a private room with a great included breakfast!

The private room shower room + sink was a wet room which was a bit annoying for getting your feet wet every time you had to use the sink. It also smelled quite bad. Is a little far out from the centre; you have to get a bus/the metro and walk quite far to reach the hostel.

I travelled alone, sharing a room with ensuite facility in the hostel with 2 others. The room was very quiet, my room mates also quiet, bed was comfortable, and everything very clean. Staff were helpful and polite. A good breakfast was included. The other residents of the hostel were quiet. I felt very comfortable staying there, enjoying my 1 night stay. I arrived on a TGV from Paris Gare de l'Est and the hostel is a city bus ride (maybe 20 minutes) away from the train station. The bus terminus is about a 15 minute walk from the hostel.

The place is incredible, very big, complete, the rooms are great, extremely clean, the breakfast is delicious and there's a beautiful view! One of the best hostels I've ever stayed in.

The shower, I don't know if I used it wrong, but it only stayed on for a short time, around 30 seconds, so you had to turn it back on several times. I think this system is great for saving water, but it could be longer!

I think it is unfair for this hostel rated lower compared to others. The room is spacious and clean, staffs are friendly, the environment is quite. the breakfast is of good value. The location is a bit fat from the city, but that is expected you should already know before you book.

Bed is comfortable. Fresh bed sheets every 2 days are so pleasing. Breakfast is good. Regular transport connection to the city. Thick curtain on the window to sleep during the day.

No lockers for closets in the room. First two days toilet in my room was clogged.

no towels and the kitchen was very dirty and had a fowl smell. dishes were left dirty in the cabinets but that’s more of the renters fault.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was good because there is a large park just outside and the river is 5 min walk away which means in 10 minutes you can cross the border into Germany. To get to Strasbourg, there was a bus stop, 10 minutes walk from the property or the tram about 20 min walk from it. There is also a playground and water fountain for children to explore to and from the tram stop. The hostel had table tennis, volleyball and a basketball net to use in their garden. The breakfast was ok (cereal, bread, croissants, some hot food and a selection of fruits plus different condiments such as jam and Nutella)

There wasn’t anything to dislike really. It’s a hostel so it’s not the same as a hotel and shouldn’t be expected to be the same.

Breakfast was good! Actually really nice coffee and always a bonus with a fruit.

It was far away from the city, but close to Germany!
