I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hôtel Garrigae Villa La Florangerie in Strasbourg, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in a tranquil residential area near the beautiful Parc de l’Orangerie, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat just a short walk from Strasbourg’s historic centre. The leafy surroundings and elegant buildings create a calm and sophisticated atmosphere that’s perfect for relaxation. The rooms was clean. Mine featured a comfortable bed, a sleek bathroom, and thoughtful touches like a Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee pods. Our room have balcony with lovely views, adding to the charm and comfort. One of the highlights of the hotel is its wellness area. The spa includes a sauna, hammam, jacuzzi, and both indoor and outdoor pools. It’s beautifully designed and ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The ambiance is cozy and relaxing, and the treatments available add an extra layer of luxury. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. From the warm welcome at check-in to helpful local tips and recommendations, they made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. Their hospitality truly enhanced the experience. Breakfast was another strong point, with a generous buffet including fresh fruit, pastries, and eggs prepared to order. It was the perfect way to start the day in a relaxed and elegant setting. Overall, Hôtel Garrigae Villa La Florangerie stands out for its stylish design, high-quality amenities, and outstanding service. Whether you’re visiting Strasbourg for business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and comfortable stay.

However, one small drawback was the lack of a proper wardrobe for storing clothes. While there was some space to hang a few items, a full closet would have been much more convenient for a longer stay.

Wonderful place to stay in Strasburg, safe area and only two bus stops from old town District. Everything was spotless clean, we loved the little Spa area, which we had almost to ourselves in the morning. The hotel has lovely decor and a lot of greenery. In summer they also offer a spacious outdoor pool. The room was comfortable spacious and had a wonderful bathroom. Definitely a recommendation for a place to stay in Strasburg!

Hotel has no parking, but there is parking along the street. We would recommend to park at the park and ride close to the hotel, it was only €15 for three days and has public transportation tickets included, which is fantastic.

We arrived 2 hours early and the gentleman behind the table had no problem providing our room to us early. He was very polite. He explained the city map and told us about parking. Parking was about 2 euros for the night just in front of the hotel. The room was very clean and amazing. Loved the jet spray tub and the walk in shower. Breakfast was perfect...hot and cold. Could not say enough about this place. Would recommend to all friends and family and we would book this place again.

The only thing I could think of is to have the small pool and sauna open a little later.

This is a really nice place to stay. Having both a spa and pool it felt more like a resort. Even though we were only there for two nights we felt totally relaxed. Big rooms and ensuite made some much more expensive places we had stayed in seem way overpriced. Then there was breakfast, what a selection. It would have to be the best on our trip.

There wasn't much we didn't like about this hotel other than it was a bit further away from the city than I would normally stay. Having said that the walk into the city was pleasant and took us about twenty minutes.

We had a great time staying here for two nights. The room was really nice. The bed was exceptionally comfy as were the sheets, and the lighting in the room was really neat allowing you to tailor the amount and type of light to your liking. There was also a Nespresso machine in our room and the coffee pods were complimentary, which was just about the best thing ever in my book.

It was a little bit far from downtown/oldtown Strasbourg. We obviously had the address before we booked it and saw that it was about a 25-minute walk into town. However, we figured we'd just hop on a bus on a nearby street but it turns out you have to walk 10-12 minutes to get to the nearest bus stop so we were kind of caught between the two, not sure whether to take the bus or walk. The pool was nice and warm but there were a lot of mosquitos around the pool deck area, so sunbathing was out of the question.

Beautiful hotel in an attractive, quiet area of the city. Of course, the walk into the centre is a little longer but the pay-off of this was a stunning location and the beautiful Orangerie park on our doorstep. Staff were lovely. Chilled water was available from a machine at the bar without limit, a huge perk for an August stay and sensible for the environment. Having the pool was amazing, as was use of the balcony.

Naturally, there were mosquitos around the pool so use repellent carefully.

We were met with a warm welcome and given a room upgrade and had a large suite with a balcony! That was a lovely surprise! We caught the number 15 bus down into the town to explore. Strasbourg is a lovely town with lots to see and do. Petite France is just beautiful with all the timber framed houses. It was a shame the weather turned wet and chilly early evening so we could not enjoy it all properly. The hotel was situated a bit further away from the town than we realised but if the weather had been good we'd have walked back but we had to catch the bus again as it was so wet! The buses seemed to be a set price of 2.50 euros each so 10 euros in total on two fairly short journeys seemed a little expensive. Breakfast was lovely with some hot options too. Overall, a lovely stay at Garrigae Villa La Florangerie and thank you to all the staff who helped to make it a special stay! :) Parking is on the street outside - there did not seem to be an issue finding a space.

Superb location in Strasbourg lovely neighborhood, near European council. Very nice lounge, unfortunately we did not have time for the SPA. Parking was not included, but the off street parking seemed very secure (and free 7pm-9am). Personnel was impeccable. Price very reasonable. Breakfast excellent.

The room was on the small side, but that was as expected and we were offered an upgrade. Breakfast 20 EUR.

The location was excellent. Just round the corner from a lovely large park, quiet neighbourhood but only a 20 minute walk from all the attractions of the old town. The staff were very helpful. The room, shared areas and the pool were immaculately clean and well maintained and the breakfast provided a wide choice of options. We loved the restaurant recommended by the reception manager (Au bon coin d'Alsace).

Nothing

The room was spacious and clean. The pools were great as it was hot during the day. If you wanted to get away from kids playing in the outside pool, the inside one was very quiet.

The pool closed a little early. And the location was a little far from the centre of town but still very accessible.
