The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. When we notice that the restaurant across the street from the hotel was out of business, she informed us where in the immediate vicinity we could find similar restaurants. The hotel is conveniently located only 5 minutes of the A10, so ideal for people passing through and looking for a place to stay one night.

The restaurant opposite of the hotel went out of business. This was very convenient as it was just 10 paces away - after a long day driving. The food was quite OK. Now we have to look for another similar restaurant in the neighbourhood.

Perfect location for Airport and Tram into city. Great value and ideal for what I needed. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. I was a single traveller this time but will be back with my wife to explore this beautiful city. Great grill restaurant right beside the hotel that gives a discount to hotel guests. Thoroughly recommend this hotel. Basic facilities but exceptional value and good friendly service.

The breakfast was continental but I'm being flippant. For the price i couldn't have expected more.

Could do with air con or fans in room as it was a very hot spell , but guess you get what you pay for , Apologies no offence intended, we liked the hotel ,just a bit hot this night

The hotel is simple but very clean, offering excellent value for money. I have stayed there a number of times and always found the staff to be very friendly and efficient. Parking has never been a problem and there are good value restaurants within easy walking distance

The hotel offer a good family room for when you are on your way doen south. We have stayed for many years now and it really meets our travel requirements. Parking in from of the hotel is also available when you arrive late.

We always arrive late and I particularly like the check in machine that always work and is user-friendly. This year however, it did not when I arrived around 2:00am. I called the phone number on the machine and the hotel manager arrived in about 15 minutes to help resolve the situation. So scary at first after a long drive but speedily resolved. We will be back next year!

Easy to find on the outskirts of Pau, free parking. There are a number of places to eat fairly close by. Quiet location.

On our arrival the receptionist asked if we would like a room upgrade to a comfort room. It was my wife's birthday so we said yes and paid the 5 euros. On entering the room it was obvious that we hadn't been upgraded at all. The receptionist on arrival appeared more interested in obtaining the fee for a room upgrade. We had originally asked for a quiet room away from any stairs or lifts however our 'upgraded room' was very near the stairs. In all honesty this wasn't an issue as there was no noise. If travelling onto Spain I suggest taking the ring road around Pau as during the week travelling through the city would be slow because of traffic issues.

The hotel is cheap and cheerful with a choice of eateries within walking distance. We have mobility issues and the hotel always gives us a room on the ground floor. There are no lifts.

Drop in bathroom units are a bit small but to be expected for the price.

A good place for one night. The room was comfortable and just as described. There was free parking within the premises. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was okay. So overall, it was a good stay.

The bathroom could have been a bit bigger, but still it was okay for one night.

It is a bit difficult to find the hotel from the main roads as it sits behind another hotel. Some panels would be welcome

Difficult to judge cleaness of place as quite old and pass it best by date! Comfortable, all amenities expected in budget hotel. Great breakfast and staff very pleasant and welcoming although could have without the cockroach in batbroom
