The staff were very helpful. We needed wifi because we did it have a SIM card for Georgia. Our given room was too far from the router which resulted in us not having wifi. The staff moved us to a new room immediately - wonderful service. Thank you. Breakfast was delicious. Location is excellent!

The local people were not so friendly when I wanted to use the pool. The pool is not for leisure. It gets used for swimming practise by the community. This is NOT a problem. It’s a wonderful opportunity for the locals. The locals however didn’t like us sharing the pool with them even during the given “free hours” for the hotel guests.

The Hotel Georgia Gold is convenient for visiting the Stalin Museum, just a 5-minute walk. Otherwise this is perfectly serviceable hotel with clean rooms and not much fuss. They do have a sizable lap pool if you’re in the mood for a swim. We upgraded to a deluxe king, a large room with furniture around the edges and a cube on one side for the bathroom. Everything was tidy and in good order, but minimal. The bed was only moderately comfortable. Amenities included a hot water boiler and instant coffee and a decent Wi-Fi connection. On a return visit through Gori we had a standard room. It was moderately sized and did not have a water boiler but they gave us one upon request. There is street parking and private parking behind the hotel. We were the only car there overnight. In fact the hotel laundry was hanging across the parking lot when we left in the morning. The hotel has a café/bar. With velour drapes and chairs it’s a stylish room to have a coffee or drink, but I’d skip the food. We got an omelet and chicken cutlet with fries for lunch. It took a long time to get the food and it was only OK. The chicken was more bread than meat. This turned out to be the worst meal of our trip through Georgia.

The best thing about the hotel is its location - right in the middle of town, opposite the central park and a few minutes’ walk from the Stalin museum. The room was clean and quiet (even though it faced the road) and the en-suite bathroom was very nice. There was plenty of choice in the breakfast menu. I was there for one night only so didn’t have chance to use the pool.

The very loud music at breakfast time wasn’t to my taste. I prefer a quieter start to the day, with space to think…

The location is good, within walking distance of surrounding attractions, good breakfast, all staff are helpful, easy parking, has own private parking place, reception also helped guide to park in the backyard private parking. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, Stalin Museum is 100 meters from the hotel, recommended for staying

I liked everything and was treated with courtesy by everyone. I was especially impressed by one member of staff. He (Nodar) was both helpful and kind at all times during my stay. Because of this I would not hesitate to recommend Georgia Gold to all my family and friends

I think some bedside lighting would be an asset as being a reader I found the lighting could be improved.

Breakfast only from 9:00 and it was not ready even for this time. We rushed to the airport, we had to have breakfast packed. The internet in the room was very weak and slow. There was no refrigerator in the room, there was no place to cool drinks in the hot summer. The spring mattresses were very uncomfortable.

They had a safe place to store our bicycle. The shower was warm, the bed comfortable, the air conditioning worked, it was quite, it was right down town, it had a swimming pool.

Serve Breakfast at 7:00 AM. For us traveling 9:00 is too late.

The hotel is centrally located within walking distance of the main points of interest in Gori. My room was big and clean, and I had a view to the main street. I enjoyed the breakfast, which I could choose from a menu.

I didn't have time to try the indoor swimming pool, but I'm sure it's great!

A big comfortable room with plenty of space, clean linen, large bathroom and armchairs. The hotel is located just opposite the Stalin museum and in walking distance of the fortress and old town. Parking was easily available on the street. Breakfast offered good variety.

The pool was very busy. The wind would whistle through the window frame.

Located right in the center, everything is walking distance. Free parking and good reception/check in. Room was quite big, bathroom door though glass was not actually see through as we thought may be the case. Breakfast options were good and plentiful.

Could have received more information on what to see etc in Gori (a lot was closed so we spent a lot of time looking around for restaurants). Balcony was nice but no door to access. Not all staff speak English.
