Awesome room, awesome view on the valley, the corner room has a huge balcony, beautiful surroundings - lake, mountains, forest, huge valley. Mini bar is also good.

If your room is near the elevator you will most probably hear it very well every time it is used.

The infrastructure was beautifully designed, especially the room on the first floor was enormous (with surprisingly tall ceiling) ,however still felt very cozy. The best part was surrounding nature, it was breathtaking, especially at night when you could hear the owls🫣❤️

Everything was perfect! (however, I would probably single-out the receptionist woman, and suggest her to be less “strict” and hostile towards non-Georgian speakers. As a Georgian speaker myself, I don’t think it’s fair to single out “natives” and treat them a little “friendlier” then non-speakers. It’s a job, where you have to treat everyone equally and make them feel comfortable + maintain good national image and our hospitality 🫶🏻

Nestled in a serene corner far removed from bustling city life, my stay at Kvareli Lake Resort was a tranquil escape into nature's embrace. The location, nestled close to a small lake Kvareli, provides breathtaking views of the mountains and the serene calmness of the lake. Despite its remote and peaceful setting, the hotel offers a range of activities to keep guests engaged. From leisurely rides on water cycles or bicycles to invigorating swims in the pool and relaxing sessions in the sauna, there's something for everyone. For those inclined towards fitness, the small gym provides ample space and equipment to maintain your exercise routine. The accommodations were comfortable and thoughtfully designed, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The staff were courteous and attentive, ensuring a pleasant and memorable stay. Overall, Kvareli Lake Resort is a hidden gem for those looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a range of activities in a tranquil setting. Highly recommended for families looking to create lasting memories in a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The breakfast (and the cuisine in general) is probably the best I have encountered in Georgia. Both variety and quality were great, and in addition to a very generous selection in the buffet, they make every kind of hot morning dish: benedicts, toasts, omelets, you name it. And everything tastes great. The rooms are nice, the mattresses are firm (crucial for me and my broken back), and the panoramic windows offer stunning views of both the lake and the valley. The staff needs a few extra words. They were friendly, helpful, almost all of them speak quite good English, and they are literally there to help you: whether it's rescuing you from the rain across the lake and sending a golf taxi to take you back to the hotel, or changing your flat tire (both happened to us, and I couldn't be more grateful for the help, if you're reading this - thank you once again!)

Beware of the ants though, any food left outside the fridge will attract a small swarm of them. Harmless, but some people might get scared.

Everything is perfect: location, food, room (especially smell in it), views, katamarans, lake, pool, reception staff. Breakfast is good, which is not usual for open buffet.

1) Service in georgian restaurant (main building) is terrible (!!) : we were waiting for 20 min for a menu, and 2 times asked about it - personal did nothing for first notification. Then we waited 20 min more to make an order. Directly asked personal for coming to us - it worked at second reminding. At the end we got a teapot after once more notifying about it when the desert is done. Worst service than anywhere else. 2) bikes for rent wasn't well handled. Tyres are not inflated, transmission (speeds) can't be set, seat height can't be changed.

The most beautiful location. A lake, a forest, some hills. Paradise. We went to the room, through our bags and went on a bicycle trip around the lake. In the morning we went on a hike on a path in the forest. You can have a view of the lake or a view of the vineyards and hills. The restaurant in the hotel served excellent food and had a great ambiance. The room was comfortable and large, the sauna was hot and good. The children had a great time playing in the amusement room. This is one of the finest resorts we have been to.

The only negative things were that that they were doing some construction work that didn't allow us to stay longer and had trucks and diggings on the grounds. I believe that this will be fixed when they re-open in May-2024

Words can bearly do justice to this gem! We spent 3 sunny days as a family of 4 loving the golden colours of the autumn leaves surrounding the hotel in its idyllic location at the end of the lake with extraordinary 270 degrees of breathtaking views. Large comfortable rooms and spacious balconies were well thought out with excellent facilities (fridge, Nespresso machine etc..) The spa complex was functional but well equipped with a super steam room, sauna and plunge pool. An infinity pool on the roof overlooking the lake was not heated, but an invigorating dip added to the feeling of wellbeing . We also enjoyed a superb hour long massages. And the food… oh my goodness. The breakfast buffet was a work of art almost too good to eat, but it didn’t stop us! Delicious homemade yoghurt and muesli, wonderful mushrooms cooked in tarragon… and the best eggs Benedict I have ever tasted, with a perfect freshly made hollendaise. Dinner was a learning experience of tasty and freshly cooked Georgian dishes- all exceptional. After all that food were grateful of the free bikes and pedalo! All the staff, without exception, were charming and helpful We can hardly bring ourselves to leave and will be back. One note- at the time of writing (October 2023) a new building is being constructed adjacent to the current hotel. It’s testimony to the wonder of the place that the construction noise didn’t detract too much, but if you are planning a visit soon, it’s worth being aware.

I was planning to visit Kvareli Lake Resort for a few years now, building my wishes and expectations about the lake - the place, the facilities and the staff went beyond all my dreams. The lake surrounded by mountains is a private property, only guests can enjoy it, this makes it isolated, relaxing, ideally neat place. The building is build in a way, that makes it fit in the nature-each floor’s balcony is surrounded by the lane of grass in a way that the bellow floors the yard and facilities can’t be seen, and if feels like the nature starts right at the foot of your balcony, no matter which floor you are located. The building is located at the edge of lake and on the top of the hill on the other side, so that all beauty of Alazsni valley is right there at your feet. Staff are perfectly trained, caring, always exceptionally polite and very important feature - smiling, which makes you smile back often it makes your day! Cuisine- delicious, varied choice at the buffet breakfast, don’t miss an omelet with cheese and vegetables and their croissants-taste Paris! Thank you for keeping high standards if service, I will definitely return!

BREAKFAST IS INCREDIBLE, view is great. Pretty much a Rooms Hotel equivalent in Kakheti. Great entertainment room with pool table. Nice bar, seating, serene lake and you can use their bicycles. Restaurant was delicious.

You are not allowed to swim in the lake(?) Which was the whole point of us going, so that was a shock. The pool building is quite slippery upstairs, and the greek sauna must have been broken because it smelled very moldy. Towels were not clear to find on other side of the building. Our room was all the way on the end of the building and wifi did not work (room 215), I called front desk about it and they did nothing. Annoying since I had to work and wound up using hotspot sim instead of their wifi which doesnt reach that room.
