The hotel is at a walking distance from the city center (~ 1 Km) and the Carolus Spa (500 m). It is outside of the area that requires a car sticker. It is a small hotel ("family business" as the owners say). The building is old, but the rooms (at least the one we stayed) was exceptional. Breakfast: although the variety cannot be compared with the one of large hotels, it surpassed my expectations, given the hotel size. It was definitely good. The staff is very polite. You can usually find parking in the street (free on Sundays). The room cost was logical, compared with the average hotel costs of the area.

The automatic check-in process was a bit confusing (partially my fault, since I had received a message in WhatsApp with directions, which I did not read all). The building is a bit old and the common spaces (staircase, elevator etc.) tend to discourage you a bit, but it all changes when you enter the room.

Breakfast was very good. the breakfast area is very nice, cosy, good variety, fresh vegetables. The room was big and clean. The sound insulation was great. Public affordable parking not far. Staff is very nice. Great location very close to the spa, a few nice restaurants not far.

The elevator is reallly small. The coffee machine is slow and doesn't have decaff option, the towels could be replaced, they have seen better days, altough they are perfectly clean. One of the beds made noises.

The bountiful breakfast is included! It's really close to the main hot springs (Carolus Thermen) not far from the center itself. The room had an electrical water kettle, tea, coffee and two TVs. Really good price/quality relation.

Didn't had a door between the main bedroom and the living room (basement room for three people). Some fixtures need adjustments (bathroom) but nothing serious.

Our room was modern and clean with walk in shower. Our room had a mini fridge. The staff and manager were very nice although the front desk has limited hours. Good communication for automated check in. Parking is close for small fee. Hotel has a lift. Breakfast was very good in a nice eating area. City Center was 10-15 minutes away by foot.

Nice location, very nice breakfast, clean room, spacious bathroom. Easy check-in just picking up the card from the front door case.

Just two parking places for 15 EUR/day. Beds could have better matraces, ours were quite used and therefore not that comfortable. I can imagine during hot days without aircon the room can get quite hot but we did not have this experience as the weather was ok.

Very pretty boutique hotel located 10 minutes away from town centre. Rooms are spacious with comfy beds , all facilities and easy access. Breakfast was included and food variety was very nice enough to please anyone. Staff is very friendly , knowledgeable and helpful . Car park spaces are available for customers who travel by car. We will definitely book rooms again .

Nothing to criticise!

The breakfast had lots of options for different tastes. The hotel was in a great location for us with easy walking distance to the old town.

It would be good if the reception offered two cards at check-in if one party wants to do something different especially as reception is not manned during office hours. The packaging for condiments could be reduced to minimise plastic waste.

The breakfast was limited but very good. The single room I stayed in was good for one night, it would be quite small for a longer stay. There was a very spacious and comfy bed and the room was overall very clean and nicely equipped. Also, I enjoyed the kettle and various tea and coffee options in the room.

I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. Maybe the communication about my arrival was at one point a bit unclear. But in the end, we solved the problem and everything was good.

Great location and nice to be able to check in yourself in the evening. Very cozy and clean room with everything you need in it. Great breakfast in a home-like room. Would recommend it when visiting this beautiful city.

Did not expect the room to be in the basement. In the night and morning some people walked over the roster where the doors could open. This made some noise for the third person sleeping in the living room area on random times.

good location to go to Carolus Thermen. Clean room, where all was there for a quick night stay. (it is not the type of room you spend hours in, but we did not look for that) good value-money. close to city center.

Given the current road works, they coudl have advised how to reach the hotel. When we arrived at breakfast, there was not much left, I appreciated the receptionist getting additional rolls for us- but would have been better to not have shortage.
