Where else to stay when the Christmas Market in Aachen is on? The location is excellent, and the price is reasonable. Many good breakfast options within 2 minutes walking distance. The room (33) itself was spacious, and I believe I had one of the smaller rooms. A metal framed double bed, a sturdy desk and a old fashioned wardrobe. Spartan, but more than enough for me. The bathroom was done in a modern style with white tiles. Everything was clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Note that the front desk is only manned during the day

Breakfast restaurant is temporarily closed, Access to rooms only by stairs, no elevator. The staff will however help with the luggage if needed.

We were attending Formula 1 GP at Spa and have chosen this hotel for its absolutely reasonable price. The hotel was right in the city center, close to good city parking and to restaurants and cafe for dinner. The hotel crew was absolutely amazing. Super polite and kind to recommend us anything we were asking about.

The room we’ve got was not comfortable at all, unfortunately. We had glass doors to the toilet right in front of the bed, meaning anyone who goes there at night wakes up the other one. Also there was no a/c so we have slept with opened window, but it was hard to do so as it is super noisy outside from the central square.

One could not get any closer to the City square. It was right on the corner of it. The cleanliness of the room was exceptionally clean. It was unfortunate that we were only here for one night. What a beautiful City !

The key safe to retrieve the key to the room via reading an email previously sent was bit of a pain, and to which it seemed to bit of a hostel type accommodation. Luckily, having worked out the method for getting the key to the front door and to our rooms (by the help of a a kind Gentleman resident and his wife who happened to be going back their room . Our two rooms were what you would expect any Hotel room to be ! The other dislike, although no real problem was the tight stair well. - Not so good if you are disabled.

The location could not be better. Extremely central, one minute away from the old city hall, right in the most picturesque part of Aachen, with lots of shops and nice eating places nearby. My room was a good size and I had a bath tub (big bonus in a single room). My room was quiet, I had my own key to the premises and could come and go as I liked. It felkt very private. If returning to Aachen, I would certainly want to stay here again.

Absolutely nothing. The only setback for some people would be the lack of a lift. My room was on the 1st floor, so I did not have too many stairs to contend with.

The location is right in the main plaza area with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. My room had an incredible view of the Dom and the surrounding streets! Check in was smooth and friendly. My room was spacious with an updated and large bathroom.

The electrical wiring seemed to need some attention as my computer cord pulled an outlet out of the wall when I was attempting to unplug it. Also the hair dryer malfunctioned and died while I was using it - they were very apologetic and offered another one for my use, but by then my hair had dried. Also they didn't have a breakfast as advertised which they blamed on Coronavirus even though the regulations had been relaxed. I also think the bedding could have been upgraded, which is really what kept this hotel from getting a 9 or 10 rating.

This hotel is in an excellent central location beside the RattHaus and a central square not too far from the Dom. It is a 15-20 minute from the Hbf. The Xmas markets were excellent and located beside the hotel. The man who checked me in could not have been more helpful

The lift wasn't working at all and I had to lift my suitcase and laptop bag up 4 tight flights of stairs. The room was cold initially on entering and took awhile to warm up - but I didn't excessively warm the room either.

It was a very comfortable hotel in a perfect location for exploring Aachen city centre. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not provided but there were so many great options for eating just outside the door.

It might have been nice to have tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms but this is such a tiny detail that it doesn't matter too much.

Small family hotel right in centre of Aachen, so very convenient for all sights. No breakfast, but excellent cafes within 100 metres. All facilities and fri4endly staff.

No lift, so a bit of a climb to 3rd floor. Suggest ask for 1st floor room when booking.

Very comfortable bed, absolutely central, extremely friendly &helpful staff

It was very loud, because of the warm weather we had to have the windows open during the night. Impossible to sleep without earplugs… An air condition would be advisable if the summers continue to be so hot!!!

Excellent location, facing the pedestrianised square, almost facing the town hall. Parking two minutes walk away. Lots of nearby cafe’s for breakfast. Good value, high quality to cost ratio. Good shower, comfortable clean bed with comfy cushions and extra cushion in the wardrobe. Friendly and helpful reception.

Nothing really, just be aware that there is no breakfast. Also the lift was not working, so needed to walk to the 3rd floor. Reception not manned overnight. No tea or coffee in the room. For me these were all minor considering the quality and excellent location for the price. Parking cost €15 for24 hours, very good breakfast in nearby cafe was €12. Likely there are cheaper eating options nearby.
