nothing that we didn't like or missed, few nice-to-haves: insect nets on windows leading behind the building where a small stream runs and maybe a small fridge to keep the drinks cool

The experience was amazing. Even when I arrived after midnight (due to losing shortly a train connection at Bingen, my own fault), the code that had been given to me by the staff and the video instructions for the check in allowed me to enter without hassle. After a relaxing bath and an amazing night of sleep, I enjoyed a lot the beautiful back yard, enjoyed a delicious and abundant breakfast and attention by all the staff. Really look forward to go back sometime, maybe to complete the whole train along the World Heritage Site.

Cannot tell about anything that I did not like. Everything from the staff to the location was stellar, the bed allowed me for an amazing, serene night of sleep after a day walking around Cologne and a really eventful night visiting Bingen. The location of the hotel, at Steeg, allows for a really nice stroll to the center of Bacharach, with great Weingüter in the neighborhood. After visiting the hotel, its location was very practical for me to hike to Burg Stahleck, Wernerkapelle, downtown Bacharach and then take the trail to Oberwesel. Loved everything about the area and the hotel.

Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and located next to each other per our request. After hours arrival was really easy and we were able to gain access to our rooms quickly and with no issue. Our rooms were large and fit our family perfectly.

Our bed was really squishy... sounds kind of funny, but I was shocked at how far we sunk in when we laid down. The mattress in the other room we had was in much better shape and more comfortable.

Rolladen for both the window and the balcony door. Instructions to find parking and keys were very good. Loved being based in Bacharach. Loved having the balcony space that opened onto the trees, not the street.

TV didn't work but we were gone most of the time. Drove to parking along the river instead of walking as one in our group is a slow walker so too far for us to walk.

Comfortable room, very clean, very quiet.

Check-in is complicated and not user-friendly: you get a code sent to your email (NOT Booking message box) which opens a safe-box with your room key in it. For assistance there are phone numbers which took many attempts until answered. When I arrived late evening there were 3 other people outside, dumbfounded by the instructions and unable to get into their rooms. The hotel is also far from places of interest - not a walking distance to food etc.

Rooms were really nice, clean and the whole place was very well kept. Great showers, beds were comfy, not much more you can ask for. Location is still good as well, but only ideal with a car. Think it could be difficult if you’re on foot as it’s a 5 min drive from the main town area. Loved our time here, definitely recommend. Super fast Wi-Fi!

All was good

Lovely rooms, one of the only places in town with air conditioning (which was very appreciated during my hot July visit), very quiet and peaceful. Self check-in was very easy, and it was great to have this option as my flight was very delayed so I arrived close to midnight. The hotel staff went above and beyond to help book a taxi for me short notice due to my late arrival!

The hotel is a bit of a walk from town (not strenuous and flat, but about 15 minutes duration), but on the plus side this makes it quiet and peaceful. It's also right across the street from an excellent winery to visit for tastings (Ratzenberger), and the scenery on the walk into town is beautiful so the location wasn't a problem for me.

It has very good facilities, it is quite spacious, And the bathroom and shower are perfect for one person, The area is very quiet and very calm.

I had a problem with the entrance because the entrance card did not work for me at the main door, I was calling the Hotel manager but he never answered me, the communication was very bad, it was thanks to some people who are staying who told me that the entrance is On the other hand, in an alley that is a little hidden next to the Hotel, if it had not been for these people, I would not have been able to enter my room. I also left a message on Booking to be able to contact those responsible for the Hotel, but they never answered me.

They did not provide entry details before check in time. Tourist Information helped me to get the details. They should have told me before hand that wi-if at the property is open and they do have an arrangement with a staffed local hotel for emergencies.
