A beautiful little hotel in a lovely valley. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and we had a huge room with a lovely balcony. The food at breakfast was fresh and delicious.

Internet was slow and almost non existent, and a kettle in the room would have been really nice.

The blanket & pillows in the bed were not great for us; we personally would have liked warmer blankets & at least some more filling in the pillows. I would have appreciated some more vegan or vegetarian options (as well as gluten free) at breakfast (also to encourage other guests) - but I could have informed the host upfront about my preferences & they would have arranged for it. Keep in mind that it's a longer walk to the center - but there is a bus stop right at the hotel & they provide a free public transport ticket for the area. Also keep in mind that the local government currently doesn't allow hotels to open their spa area.

The hotel tucked in a valley not far from Bad Herrenalb was the perfect weekend get-away. Staff were pleasant, food was good, the rooms are comfortable, the views were special. We hiked and ate and relaxed and enjoyed the surroundings. Spent a day in Bad Herrenalb at the Thermal Baths. Nice town with historic sites. If we had stayed longer we may have used the sauna in the hotel and perhaps taken the train into Baden Baden for the day as well. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and helpful staff who spoke English. Large rooms with balconies. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel. The food was excellent. Would certainly stay here again.

Beautiful countryside at Black Forest mountain's! Easy to find! Very warm welcome with ownerman! We spoked a lot of life and everything else! Restaurant gorgeus! Breakfast was "germanstyle" as in it's best🤤 Coffee was supergood and much as You like to have! Good areas for walking/running with up and downs! SO FRESH CLIMATE🤗 Room and bed very comfortable! Danke schön und alles den bäste!
