Booked this hotel for 1 night, paid 47 $ in January 2024. Located on the last floor of the house. RECEPTION: Had no experience, due to check in is automated and it's very easy to get in. ROOM: I lived in the "Double Room", double bed with private bathroom. Overall the room was good, clean, the bed was comfortable. There is a window, table, refrigerator in the room. BATHROOM: Clean, water was warm and the pressure was ok. Towels are provided. There is no washing machine in the number. Shampoo, soap are not provided. CHECK OUT: 11:00

The room was comfortable, clean, and well-lit with huge windows, and the location was fantastic (close to great restaurants/cafes, shopping, train stations/downtown, beautiful parks, etc.). There is also breakfast available for purchase, and it was very tasty. But, the absolute jewel of this accommodation is the staff - they were incredibly helpful and informative. We were traveling with a lot of luggage that needed to be shipped ahead to our next destination, and we had a couple logistical challenges that we couldn't resolve (language barriers and lack of cell service), and the staff at Hotel-Pension Rheingold went above and beyond. They helped us find a DHL delivery hub, and when the hub called back to say they couldn't accept the luggage (that we had already delivered and left with them), the staff worked out the issue with DHL (multiple phone calls and a lot of bureaucracy) and arranged for a pick-up that got our bags sorted and on their way. The staff were incredibly generous, patient, and helpful through all the ups and downs of muddling through unfamiliar/foreign systems, not to mention great advice on where to go in the area. All in all, it was a wonderful experience with lovely folks, and we highly recommend this hotel!

Very friendly staff, great location to visit the city, the hotel is located inside a very nice old style building, we had a quadruple room for three people and it was quite big, high ceiling and balcony.

The one thing that could make the room better would be better bathroom facilities (better shower). The lift wasn't working when we were there, the hotel is on the 4th floor. Not a problem for me but my two teenage kids complained :)

It was clean, a good sized room, excellent location, very well connected. I was suprised to find out it's a floor in an apartment building, but we didn't mind it. We could still come and go as we please and we had our privacy. Good value for the price, considering the location. They don't offer a late check out, but they did keep our bags stored after check out until we had to leave for our trip back. Kind personel .

The WiFi is bad, although we had our own internet so it wasn't that big of an issue. The room was cold when we got there, although, there is heating and it warmed up in a few hours. Not a lot of channels on the tv.

The staff could respond to messages a little faster, especially when it comes to questions related to logistical issues, e.g. regarding planning your arrival.

Very spacious room with a nice balcony. Everything was very clean and the check in process (aside from the issue with the front door key code) was very easy. Good value for money.

The key code that we were given for the front door did not work and we only managed to get in because another person living in the building entered. Once we had the set of keys for the room, this was fine. One could also smell the drains a little in the bathroom.

Great location, close to U-bahn station, bars and restaurant. Neighborhood is really nice. Hotel is on the 4 floor of the building. Staff was nice and friendly, room and bathroom were clean.

Door to my room was quite thin, so I've heard people walking the corridor.

Great location, nearby the centre. Nice and spacious bathroom. Paid parking in front of the hotel (on the side of the street) is possible if you manage to find a free spot. I had little to no trouble with that.

Since the building is old and made out of wood, you should be careful with making too much noise while moving around. Also, the walls are thin so you may hear your neighbour snore. I would love to see some extra pillows in the closet as well, because mine was very thin.

I was last week in this hotel, do not get surprise when you go inside. Outside of hotel was renovated but inside was very old with old elevator. The room was very nice and clean and stuff were so kind and friendly. Room was very big and very big bathroom, I will recommend it to every one.

Pillow was really bad and I put towel under them to sleep. Next day from 7 in morning I think they were renovating in hotel, it was so noisy. Check out at 11 is so early, but in overall was great and worthen for money.

Wonderful hotel. The receptionist is a very nice man. We checked in late, but they waited for us. It is a quiet and clean area. Nearby there are many cafes with delicious coffee and croissants) The hotel is relatively far from the center, but close to public transport.

There was no small dining table. I had to drink tea on a chair))
