Lovely location. Beautiful, clean, and well-maintained facility. Great staff, they exceeded expectations! Room service was quick, and drinks from the minibar were complementary (1 beer + juices + water). The room was quiet (no noises). They also provided bowls for my dog. Breakfast was good quality-wise, however, adding more options would have been even better.

Being a 5-star hotel, I would have expected at least to find a kettle or a coffee machine in the room as well as better welcome snacks - there was literally only one canned pickle as a welcome snack + water. The amenities were missing a few items - toothbrushes and hair conditioner. The heaters were off when I checked in, which left the room very cold. Again, being a 5-star hotel, these are details that do make the difference and should be given attention to. Finally, the spa area was nice, but there was no option to swim separately from kids (there is only one small pool for all the guests) which made the experience not as pleasant and relaxing.

gorgeous hotel with incredible staff and amazing breakfast! the decor is carefully selected and you can really see Hellman’s fashion genius in everything. The PH bar and the spa are to die for! on Friday nights they have a lounge singer in the bar and she was AMAZING!! her and her accompanying pianist just killed it!

they are slowly renovating the property…it’s quite old and we stayed in an older room on the very top floor. you could see the age in it, but still charming. sadly the AC didn’t work in the bathroom area and the lights had to all be on at the same time and it made it very HOT. the bedroom could be closed off and was nice and cool so it didn’t disrupt sleep. also, nothing is free there so be prepared to pay for anything they offer you. TBH, it’s a total luxury hotel so just indulge yourself if you want the extra $.

the free WiFi internet was terrible, if you needed something better you had to pay for it. No tea and coffee amenities in the room, and room services opens at 7 am, however the lady in the restaurant was always kind enough to make me a coffee at 6 am while they were setting the restaurant, No easy access to plug in a mobile phone or a laptop on the desk or next to the beside. the room was to small, the TV was partially hidden in a corner and no English channels.

Spectacular boutique-hotel: the rooms and the common areas are astoundingly beautiful. The room was incredibly quiet, we did not hear anything or anybody. Great location, very close to the US Consulate. Very nice and helpful staff. FREE parking in front of the hotel. Very fair price. => the hotel is so good, it's worth going all the way to Berlin to simply stay there.

Managing the water temperature in the shower is quite a challenge - perhaps we did not correctly understand the system. Everything else is perfection!

The property is stunning, the design/decor is very entertaining. The room is comfortable and the location suited us well. Delicious breakfast and excellent cocktails at the bar. The swimming pool is beautiful and long enough for a few laps.

Service is hit and miss. Everyone was amiable and helpful but we were not acknowledged for over 5 minutes when we arrived. The same happened the next morning when we tried to have breakfast. Maybe the pandemic getting in the way? Nevertheless, the hotel is outstanding and we prefer to focus on the positives.

Beautiful residential area, a short walk to a fabulous park and lake. The terrace and gardens are stunning. Lovely live singer, Zoe, on Friday evenings. The staff were professional and helpful.

A loud event in the gardens - the setup and event went on from early morning with loud music still playing at 10 pm. Impossible to have an afternoon nap or to sleep early and the gardens were not accessible either. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room.

gardens need maintenance. breakfast was average and poor value (45E pp). Area around the pool was very slippery and even being very careful, my wife fell twice. We told the hotel to lay a nonslip layer over the marble floor. Rooms should include a coffee machine. a function on one night went to 0300 with loud music: unreasonable after 2400 for this hotel.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Schlosshotel Patrick Hellman. A stylish room, the level of facilities one would expect from a hotel like this including a nice outdoor terrace and a large garden, a spa and indoor swimming pool. Friendly and helpful staff and an excellent breakfast. The location is great also for outdoor activities; we rented bikes at the reception and used them to enjoy the many forest tracks and scenic views in the area.

Work in progress at the hotel; some of the furniture, fittings, fixtures and styling elements at the Schlosshotel were a bit outdated. It provides the charm equivalent to a classic car, and sometimes requires a bit of patience. Unfortunately the hotel restaurant was closed during our stay.

I stayed with my wife for our wedding day anniversary and we were really impressed. The location is really nice. The residence looks more like a museum and space for photo shooting than like a usual hotel. Every room, every detail is stylish and well designed, touched by Patrick Hellman. There are many pictures on the walls. The space for breakfast is very light and open, we enjoyed walking around the hotel area. The rooms are impressive, the bed is comfortable. We also visited SPA, I like the swimming pool and sauna, we ordered a massage and were very satisfied with its quality. I recommend it!

The rooms are not very big, you must consider this is a castle. Breakfast is not like usual in hotels when you get plenty of food. But it's not really a disadvantage as you can order a dish which is prepared personally for you.

Breakfast was scrumptious! The best hollandaise sauce served with eggs Benedict! The staff were a delight to interact with and very professional and friendly. Fruit was fresh and the choice of cheeses and meats was satisfactory. A wonderful was to start the day! I was grateful beyond words to finally stay in a hotel that offered an abundance of cupboard space. The room was glamorous and impeccably designed. Attention to detail: phenomenal! The pool and sauna area was impeccably clean and I was pleasantly surprised to have the opportunity to reserve the area for my self for 2 hours: this was a Covid hygiene protocol I appreciated. The hotel is a work of art!

I was disappointed upon arrival: the entrance was blocked by an unmanned taxi. There was no baggage assistance nor any staff to carry our baggage to our room.
