We have visited the Ochsen many times, and the fact that we return says it all, it's a lovely Hotel and Restaurant, and we have always enjoyed our visits, and rate it very highly

The room we were given on this occasion was super in most respects, but there did not appear to be any means of altering the room temperature - no obvious controls. It was a little warm, so we landed up leaving the window open to moderate the temperature - so hot air wasted out the window.

Nice hotel, in the middle of a nice old town. Breakfast was good, but the choices were not very wide.

Parking is problematic, because they don't have enough parking places for all guests. If you arrive too late you will need to park in a second row, blocking other cars, and leave your key at the reception. If you arrive early, you can get a place in the first row, but you might be blocked by someone later. Otherwise you can park on the street, but that's limited to max. 30 minutes on weekdays during daytime. The beds and pillows we uncomfortable were for us.

Great location, room was located in traditional “timber framed” part of building - beautifully adapted. Spacious and corner windows meant loads of natural light. Brilliant breakfast in clean modern breakfast room.

Multiple key cards would be a nice touch so that you can leave the room and not have to disconnect the electricity (for ventilation, charging etc.)

Wonderful hotel! We were booking the hotel close to midnight for the same night, and the lovely young man at the front desk called us to ensure we were on our way and had the correct dates - and came out in the middle of the thunderstorm to help us find our way. Amazing rooms! Modern design with some historical elements - very clean and comfy!

Breakfast was wonderful!! Delicious, fresh and plentiful. We actually prefer the European style breakfast to the heavy American breakfast. The rolls and breads were SO good, very fresh fruit bowl, cereals, great jams, tomatoes, cucumbers, cold cuts and cheeses, wonderful butter, boiled eggs, etc. Our room was large and bright, had plenty of room for all of our luggage which we had a lot of, and they were kind enough to have a fan in our room which I had asked for ahead of time. The room was nice and clean, plenty of hot water , the shower was a good size, beds very comfortable. The hotel is in a wonderful location, walking distance to all the wonderful sights. the staff is very nice, couldn't ask for a nicer hotel. I am a vegetarian, and we found a nice Middle Eastern restaurant about a 5 minute walk away that had Lentil soup and falafel. I ate lunch and dinner there. It was called Kervansaray Pizza and Grillhaus, and I was so happy to find Karisik/Gemischt soup the menu and falafel. My husband really enjoyed their Doners

Everything was great, no problems here

As we were only travelling through, we just booked the cheapest room and it didn't disappoint. A big room on the 3rd floor, with a big cosy bed and beautiful view. Everything (including the bathroom) was squeaky clean and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and customer oriented. Breakfast was self service with a good selection of sweet and savoury things, juices, breads and great coffee.

Hotel was really nice, just the room in rhe attic was quite hot also at night (but ofcourse outside was more than 30 degrees). There was AC.

The breakfast was phantastisch with a big variety. The room was big and the location was near the BLAUTOPF. The only thing I didn’t like,there was no taxi available when I arrived @ the railway Station and I had to walk to the hotel. It wasn’t very far but I’m 75 and it was not easy for me.

the building is located right in downtown Blaubeuren, rooms are big, cozy with all facilities, king size beds are comfortable. breakfast buffet is a plus with a huge variety of food both sweet and salty.

We have stayed at the Ochsen on a number of occasions and have always enjoyed our stay - in fact we very much look forward to our visits. The ambience is good and the facilities excellent. The restaurant is very good and breakfast one of the best that you can get
