Well, this hotel greatly corresponds to what you would expect from German hotels - it is practical, clean, fitting your everyday needs, at the same time humble and not intrusive what we appreciated. Location is great for those who is coming by train and would like to stay a night or two to see the old city of Ulm. If you like theaters, the Opera house is just on the opposite side of the street. We liked also the breakfast and silent surroundings in the morning.

we had a lot of traveling this time, so getting to the hotel just to sleep and have a breakfast, so not sure what to mention here. Well, there are two different hotels "Ibis" in one place, do not mix them up...

The hotel is located nearby the Center of the city like 5 minutes and very close to the train station so it is very good for someone that wants to move around the aria and even the big cities. It’s a quiet hood. There are close coffee shops and restaurants or fast food to eat. In the reception area you can find some recommendations for delivery.

It’s not that I didn’t like something. It’s a budget hotel so the reception is not open until late for someone that wants to stay hire and arrive late in the night. I also asked for a paper action in the room because it was my wife’s birthday but the couldn’t do something. I understand that of course.

The checkin was very fast and simple. The room had all the basics, was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also nice, and the location was very central.

The bathroom smelled like tobacco smoke, which was mildly unpleasant but not a big issue. It would have been nice to have a fridge in the room, but since it's the "budget" Ibis I assume this is part of how they cut costs. The main bother was that they kept the room very warm, even when the heat was turned off in the room, which made the air very dry. This gave me trouble sleeping the second of the two nights I stayed there.

Great location. Great value for money. Kids loved the bunk bed. I have never had such a good night sleep at a hotel, the beds are very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. First time ever in 1* hotel and I would definitely come back again. I traveled with my two kids (11 and 6 years old) and the hotel was at walking distance from the main train station and all the major sight seeing locations. We didn't even had to use public transport, everything was at walking distance. breakfast was basic but bagels were freshly baked and warm and there was always enough food regardless of the time of the arrival at breakfast ( 7 am or 10 am). Liked the door code instead of the room keys. Ok staff.

it was not very clean. I would not recommend it to families with crawling babies and toddlers since the floor was not spotless. Upon arrival there was no bed sheet on the bunk bed (I had to put it my self-clean sheet was hanging on the bed side-which I would not mined if the clean pillow and the clean duvet hadn't already been placed on the bed without the sheet and the bed was not clean). Upon arrival there was no hand soap ( I figured it was a 1* hotel thing and bought my own soap)but the next day we have gotten a small hand soap.

Hotel is very close to train station, felt very safe, was very clean. Breakfast was simple, but everything one might need or want. Room was big enough, towels are clean, bed very comfortable. Enough of powerpoints etc. We would stay again

The little thing that left bad taste in the stay - it was impossible to get hot water to make yourself a tea. There was an overpriced vending machine in the lobby, that poured coffee instead of requested tea.

The hotel is located at about 10 minutes walking from the train station, in a nice quiet area. Room was very well organised and offered sufficient space. Room and bathroom were clean and I was provided with shampoo. Very comfortable bed and pillow. Excellent internet connection! Staff at the hotel was very very nice, jumping to support with information and any help I needed.

This is probably the best ibis budget I've stayed in. The room was a pretty good size, it was comfy and quiet and had everything required except a kettle. (Travel kettle came in handy!). It was super clean. Doors are key coded for security and saves carrying a key about with you. Short walk from the station and the trams/ buses stopped on the main road right nearby. (By the way, the dijon ham croissant at the station was amazing!! ) Very happy with our stay and would stay again. If you want a clean, comfy but basic room for a night or two, it is perfect.

The check in process was absolutely superb one of the best in Europe. The automated check in system at its finest was highlighted when a chancer was made to pay 3 times after trying to get cheap accomodation to save £5. Yes Five English Pounds

Location in walking distance to the old center of the city.

Toilet LED lamp was broken, so small cabin was dark. TV was a mystery to me. I could not find any TV channels. Checking in was slow and took 25min and a queue of 6 guests. Staff of 2 but one was busy with internal computer administration.

Excellent location within 5 minutes walking distance of the city center. Friendly and welcoming staff, spotless room (incl. shower and toilet). Breakfast room clean and bright with an adequate choice of food. All in all, recommended.

No big problems, the room perhaps was a little overheated, but windows can be opened.
