Great location to enjoy Cochem, 5 minutes walk from the train station and the main commercial area. Not far away from the castle. The breakfast is ok according to the price and you can even order fried or scrambled eggs. There is information available on recommended restaurants which was very helpful during our stay.

Internet connection didn't work for us. Apparently something on the router configurations didn't allow our phones to connect despite the well intentioned efforts from Sebastian to resolve the issue. A bit odd considering that we didn't have this kind of issue while staying in other places in Germany.

we were in room number 9 and it was massive, never stayed in a hotel that was so peaceful before, quality of everything was superb, the owner was not there when we arrived but you rang his mobile and he was there within five mins so relax atmosphere, would highly recommend this place lots of choice for breakfast and you could obtain drinks and wine through the day by just leaving a note to say what you have had, parking right on site (chargeable) but nice and safe, short walk to the main town centre, perfect stay

The location of the property is perfect and picturesque. Cochem was probably the highlight of my entire trip in the Mosul valley. Very pretty, lots of hikes, great vibe and food options - and the place is perfect - right on the water with private parking, a great honor-bar for wine/drinks/juices, and a very chilled out host couple. They let me check in 3 hours early - and the room was excellent - even though on the 2nd floor. Overall I'd highly rate this property for a great experience.

Exceptional hotel. The hotel was fabulous. It’s a beautifully decorated boutique hotel. The location was perfect, close to the centre and to the train station. The rooms were wonderful, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was lovely, plenty of choice and very fresh. Unlimited coffee each day. The honesty bar for drinks and coffee at any time was positive bonus and was a treat to take your drink and enjoy it in the beautiful lounge The atmosphere at the hotel was warm and inviting and welcoming. The hotel boasted beautiful and comfortable rooms with fantastic river and castle views, a common lounge and a fantastic morning breakfast. Sebastian provided us with helpful suggestions and recommendations for restaurants.

We would have liked to stay longer! In retrospect, we would have made this our base for the time we spent on the Rhine as well - it isn't far and we loved the Hotel Villa Vinum Cochem more than the castle we stayed in on the Rhine.

Nice location. Centrally but still quiet. Ask for a room with a view of the valley if you prefer it to be really quiet. Nice outdoor terrace to lounge. Decent breakfast buffet. Clean and spacious rooms.

The bathroom is very small. There is hardly any place to put stuff. The breakfast was good but not great. We had stayed at other boutique hotels where the breakfast offering was significantly nicer (more selection, fresher, etc.).

Our stay was excellent. The owner is super friendly, and the location is perfect. The rooms are spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The building itself is stunning, blending charm with comfort, and the breakfast was fresh with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. We cannot recommend this hotel enough—it’s the perfect choice for anyone looking for a wonderful getaway!

We arrived ahead of the usual check-in time, but Sebastian, the host, was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to access our room early since it had already been cleaned. He also shared some great recommendations for local dining spots. The property offers private parking for €5/day and even has an electric vehicle charger. The hotel's atmosphere was fantastic, and we loved the overall vibe.

The hotel is in an amazing location overlooking the Mosel. Our room had a balcony from which we had a fantastic view of the castle. Our host was generous with his time pointing out some great choices to eat nearby. The room was very comfortable, well equipped and well presented. There really was nothing missing, our hosts had thought of everything. Breakfast was perfect, the freshly baked bread each morning a treat. Thank you.

It was so much better than we had expected! It felt like a home. Next to the Mosel, very close to town, clean, comfortable, just great. Loved the honesty bar and the relaxed vibe in the garden each evening. The hosts were really so friendly. Like minded folk from various countries were there, all friendly and all so relaxed - was it the hotel that created that - we think so. Would really recommend this hotel.
