The room was impeccably clean, stocked with free snacks and drinks. The hotel is located on a main street, but it was quiet inside. Right around the corner is the light rail 10 minutes away from the Hauptbahnhof. Breakfast was very good, stocked with excellent bread, rolls, choices of meat, fish, and cheeses, as well as cereals and delicious fruit salad. Staff is super nice, and it is very clean.

I checked in at around 10pm, which meant using an automat outside the building. I didn't like to have to pay on the street. It didn't feel comfortable. Plus the automat had problems accepting my VISA credit card. Eventually it went through. I would have preferred staff inside to allow me to check in, at least until midnight. Right now, it is staffed only until 16:00, which I find too early. However, the payment eventually worked as well as the codes to the building and room.

Wow, this place is awesome. So happy we stayed here. The location is fantastic, so close to everything. The area around the hotel is lovely and offers a variety of eating options. The Old town is just across the river. The apartments are beautiful. Lots of space and beautifully laid out. We had a deluxe apartment. The free snacks were lovely to come back to each day and were much appreciated. Our apartment faced the road but with the windows closed you didn't hear anything. The staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. We wanted to pack the apartment in our suitcase and take it with us for the rest of our holiday! You won't be disappointed staying here. I highly recommend it.

Everything was perfect

This is a lovely hotel in the perfect spot for exploring Frankfurt's Museum Mile on the River Main. It is easy walk to all of the museums (located about a block from the river, roughly in the center of the museum district), and it is surrounded by great restaurants and shops. There's great transport options nearby, but it's very walkable as well. Inside the rooms are well appointed, with lots of nice touches. Great shower, with both a shower wand and a rain shower head, nice kitchenette, cool sports themed rooms. The computerized entry system makes it easy to come when you need to check in, and the front desk was very flexible accommodating my needs. They stored my luggage during a morning meeting, which was fantastic. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, and very welcome.

The only real drawback is that the tiny elevator can't be reached without ascending half a flight of stairs, and it's one of those elevators that only stops between flights (so you have more stairs, either up or down, when you exit). So it saves a little work, but prevents this place from being handicapped accessible.

The room was as depicted in the photos. Not too far to walk from the station, but there was a tram a couple of minutes walk from the hotel, which went directly to the station. The room was an adequate size for a short stay. Only a microwave and utensils, crockery etc. No other means of cooking. There was no air conditioning but there was a fan and even though it was hot, it did keep the temperature down. A supermarket was nearby. The reception staff were very welcoming and ready to assist with any queries. The breakfast was excellent, lot of choice to suit most tastes.

It was noisy at night as our room was on a main road and over a restaurant.

Unique property in great location. Room was super clean and self check in at 1:30am due to delayed flight was the easiest and most clear self check in we have ever done. Address easy to find for Bolt drivers & taxis. Room was clean and spacious and we really appreciated the welcome drinks and water and little snacks as nothing was open when we arrived. And the coffee machine with pods, creamer & sugar the next day. We were in the boxing room on the street side and there was no noise. Bed was so comfy. Reception Staff was so nice the next day. Grocery & restaurants all around.

This is not a five-star hotel with chauffeurs and concierge services, but this is a nice hotel near a subway entrance that can get you on your way to all of Frankfurt, and it is not far from the Museumsufer. The employees were all nice. The minor things I reported about the room were all resolved the first day.

I was on a lower floor and heard foot traffic in the hallway. Also, there was some emergency vehicle traffic on the streets below and with the windows open it was very loud. It was much better with the windows closed.

I recently stayed at the Star Apart Hotel Sachsenhausen and had an overall positive experience, despite a hiccup with my reservation. When I arrived to check in, I was informed that my booking was for the following day. Unfortunately, there were no rooms available for that evening. The front desk staff, however, handled the situation with great professionalism. They offered me a seat in the lobby and access to their Wi-Fi, allowing me to book another hotel for the night without feeling rushed. The next day, I returned to check in, and my large room was ready and waiting. The room was exceptional, featuring a fully stocked kitchenette complete with snacks and water. This thoughtful touch was greatly appreciated after the previous day's inconvenience. The room itself was amazing. It was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing a very comfortable stay. The breakfast offered by the hotel was delicious and well-stocked, offering a variety of options to start the day off right. The staff at the Star Apart Hotel Sachsenhausen were consistently friendly and attentive, making sure that I was happy and well taken care of throughout my stay. Their commitment to excellent customer service was evident in every interaction. The Star Apart Hotel Sachsenhausen offers a wonderful stay with excellent rooms, great amenities, and a friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area, as the overall experience was very satisfying.

Nothing!

Great value for money! The price of the hotel room was quite low so I was not expecting much. However, I was surprised in a positive way. The bed was comfy, the room was spotless and all in all the room was really nice. Breakfast included everything necessary. The staff was really friendly and helpful. It was easy to get in touch with them when I noticed that I forgot my book at the hotel and asked them to keep it there until I could come and pick it up. The location is really good too. I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The traffic noise from outside was quite loud, but the again that is something you'd expect when staying in a location like this. I was not too bothered though. Also, there were earplugs waiting on the night stand so it was fine.

Everything was super. We just returned home from a 3 nights stay at this hotel and I LOVED it. The room was so spacious and airy. The kitchen was great; the beer, wine, and sodas in the refrigerator are free of charge. Very thoughtful. I liked the breakfast- 13 euros and plenty of tasty, healthy food and a wonderful coffee selection. The location is amazing- close to everything- restaurants, bars, cafes, shops. Its a 5 minute walk to one of the bridges, 10 minute walk on the bridge and you are in the heart of downtown Frankfort. I'd rate this 100% and would return in a heartbeat.

Nothing could make this better except staying longer than we did.

Good location. Great value for money. The hotel is sports themed, with 4 rooms on each floor, and each floor dedicated to a different sport. When we arrived I discovered our floor was the boxing floor, and our room was the Max Schmeling themed room. This means Max Schmeling posters, boxing gloves, and other memorabilia on the walls. All that was missing was a heavy bag! haha. The room itself was very large, had a small kitchen and was very accommodating for our stay. The breakfast buffet was very good in the morning. Although it is an older building there was even a small lift installed for easier access to the upper floors.
