Exceptionally good breakfast. The choice was phenomenal. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Good central location, although I was slightly concerned when I first saw the hotel but once through the doors all was good. Bathroom was a bit dated but good shower with plenty of hot water. Air conditioning in room. Lovely comfortable bed. Paid to park the car in underground car park.

It wasn’t a traditional looking hotel. Probably 60/70s building.

The staff was very kind and helpful. The location is excellent (requires a 15 minute walk to the central station and is close to the center) the room was clean. The breakfast was varied. I really liked the keys to the room the most, which gave me the feeling of an old school boutique hotel.

The pillows in the room are of low quality and not comfortable for sleeping.

Perfect Location, everything at walking distance. Parking at the basement (extra charge). Supermarket next door. Clean, quiet room, Air-condition, Minibar, Electric kettle. Big closet. Good Bathroom. Very good breakfast; quality and variety. We recommend it.

Nothing significant. A bit old-fashioned room. Shower gel was not replaced, until we asked for it.

A good position in the city, you can easily walk to the central sights. I got a room on the top floor, nice and quiet for sleeping. The breakfast offering was fine, just a bit strange that they offer bacon that is very poorly cooked. No problem really, as there are plenty of other choices - though perhaps the layout of the buffet can be a bit confusing, as things I would think connected are placed far apart from each other. Good service from the personell. Well equipped minibar.

The room was fitted with dark, mostly wood furnishings. Nothing wrong with that (this is the Schwarzwald, after all), but it gave the impression of the room being dusty and not quite clean.

In the middle of the centre. It was very clear that this owner did everything to make the guests comfortable. Everything in the hotel was correct and clean. This hotel is managed with love. The breakfast was very complete. The owner and his staff were very attend. Also the extensive tips about the environment were very useful.

Breakfast was included with our room and was really, really good. Fresh eggs, lovely variety, specialty coffees on demand at no extra charge, dog bowl for our pup brought out on a lovely platter. Comfy lounge area, excellent whiskey Coke.

It would have been nice to have a fitness room.

I had a very good night: comfortable bed, great breakfast, friendly staff, cleanliness couldn't be faulted. Would have come back for another stay but not available when I needed it. Great location.

The pad only allowed one page open at a time which was fiddly when I wanted to compare info from different recommendations. It's a bit odd having to climb steps to get to a lift - this might be a problem for some people with heavy luggage/mobility issues.

Central location. Nice and clean rooms with good air conditioning and amazing breakfast and lovely staff.

Room backed on to a loading bay for a hotel opposite and there were early morning deliveries every day. Which woke us up each morning. Also a little noisy at night.

The breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect...close proximity to all interesting sights...as well as for shopping. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! Chapeau!!!

I only missed a mini bar in my room!

Good breakfast with newspapers available and good choice of seating. Quiet room, adequate size for single person, with large dormer window for plenty of light. Easy access to the Munster area in Freiburg.

Elevator only to 3rd floor, so had to use stairs to get to room on 4th floor.
