Beautifully designed hotel in the middle of Tegernsee. It is a little up the hill, rather than directly by the lake. We were also very grateful for the ample underground parking available as we arrived on a sunny Sunday and Tegernsee was overflowing with daytrippers and tourists. Our room was spacious and gorgeous with a lovely view from the private balcony. The roof terrace bar is particularly stunning during the day as well as evening. We did not get to use the pool and Spa but it looked wonderful. Breakfast was also super good. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. We will definitely be back!

We had only one night at Caro & Selig, but it was super enjoyable! We arrived at late night hour and the staff was super nice and attentive. The room was spacious, everything looked new and clean. Bed was super comfortable (both for us and our toddler who had a nice crib) There is air conditioner in the hotel and the rooms (super important on hot days!) Breakfast was rich, including variety of specialty of the region. The hotel has a parking attached (fee). The hotel located in middle of Tegernsee, short walk to lake promenade.

I hesitated to book this hotel as this area as plenty of accommodation in typical Bavarian style. But I don’t regret my choice as the rooms have a very high quality standard and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast until 11:00 AM and even 12:00 on weekends is really nice for lazy bones.

I came by car and decided to not use the hotel car park at 24€. It was not difficult to find place on the streets nearby the hotel but can only book for 2 hours. One day I couldn’t make it and got a 20€ fine (which is still cheaper than the hotel car park).

I like everything at this hotel. It’s my second stay in Caro & Selig Waiters at the restaurant are very friendly and accommodating, always ready to help. Excellent breakfast. Thank you for taking care of us.

I did request a bath tub with booking, but when I’ve asked at the check in they said no bath tub at rooms. But it was mentioned online. Staff at the reception very slow, we waited for 3 hour to check in, only one room was ready. No Porter available at the hotel.

Beautiful hotel!! I would definitely recommend. Just very crowded in high seasons. Breakfast for 35€ per person it is not reasonable! If you walk a few minutes from hotel to the next breakfast restaurant you will fine a beautiful place in front of the see for a lower price.

To pay extra 50€ just for parking it is unreasonable!

The property exceeded our expectations. It is probably one of the most stylish hotels we have ever been to. Everything is very new, modern and visually pleasing. Restaurant on site was great as well. Private underground parking was spacious. Gym is quite small but still nicely done. Spa area is super cute. There is also an outdoor terrace to sunbathe.

We did not have the breakfast in the hotel because of the pricing, but there are nice cafes in a walking distance, so that was not a big deal for us.

Very confortable and clean room, with all the amenities and a small frigobar. It also has a really nice balcony. It is really close to the train station and walking distances to the lake. They provide a bus card so you can use that transportation for free (nice detail).

I found the breakfast a bit expensive (~35 EUR), when you can find very good options in the town for less than half of that price.

Tastefully decorated the interior design creates a calm space. The rooms are all spacious, very clean, modern. The staff are especially welcoming and very helpful, at all times!

The food at the bar was great, unfortunately we were less lucky at the Freyheit Grill restaurant.

Very friendly, helpful and competent staff! Excellent bars and restaurant. Very clean, bright and modern decor. Extremely comfortable bed. Minibar stocked once with water, soft drinks and local beer included in the price of the room.

My room had a connecting door which can be noisier than one without. I should have asked for a non connecting room.

The hotel is modern and the rooms are superbly equiped, I should add that we were upgraded to arrival to a Superior room when we arrived. The fourth floor Mountain View room has a lovely private balcony, the mini-bar is free initially, the bathroom is stunning and there is a small table to work or eat at.

Temperature control seemed a bit slow to respond, otherwise cannot think of anything.
