Wonderful location with parking. Superbly helpful staff. Visit started very well when we bumped into a staff member whilst arriving up the cobbled street; on seeing us she immediately sorted out our parking spaces even though she was obviously on her way to do something else. Hotel is very long and spread out which really adds to its charm. We bought the breakfast package which we felt was excellent, lovely breakfast which, as the weather during our stay was very warm, could be taken either inside or out. Room was very spacious, bathroom large with a nice large shower. We slept with the windows open due to the un-seasonably warm weather but normally could only hear the church clock tower bells; there was more noise when the local festival was on but that was to be expected. We felt really well looked after during our stay, the staff at breakfast were always helpful even with my bad German, the barman at the hotel's White Swan bar was just great and the reception area were lovely.

Nothing - it was better than we hoped for.

Stayed for one night as I passed through Goslar and it was in a great location and beautiful building. The room was lovely, with a stone fetaure wall and spacious. I was able to park my motorbike inside the gates. The staff were all friendly and very helpful.

It is an old building so the floors were a little creaky so you could hear people moving about. I tried to tiptoe around the room as I was awake early. Breakfast was buffet a bit pricey so decided to skip the breakfast as just wanted something small and light.

The see through glass screens on the shower doors were not to our taste. There was no nice shower gel, shampoo etc provided. The hotel is very expensive so we did expect more luxurious accessories for the money. The lighting around the magnified mirror glowed all night, interrupting sleep.

This lovely hotel is spread across a number of very old buildings including the old Mint, a Library and the old pub the White Swan which has a pretty courtyard to sit in. The dining room is especially pretty in the old library and there is a modern area too ti the dining room on what is called the Winter garden. I’m asking which is at a premium in Goslar is also available. The hotel is very central and only a stone’s throw from the marketplace.

The hotel is in a 500-year-old building; you can feel the history. The interiors are updated to modern comfort levels. The location cannot be better for seeing the important sites in Goslar. The breakfasts are excellent. The people are friendly. The price was very reasonable.

The bathroom sink was too shallow; it was almost useless. From our room we had to walk through two open courtyards to get to breakfast, which was not fun in bad weather but would be a pleasure in good weather.

Location and overall feel of the property

The evening dinner at the restaurant was not in keeping with the overall excellent quality of this hotel. The menu selections were less creative and reflected much less culinary expertise than comparable hotels in this area of Germany. If there was any one disappointment with our stay at this hotel, it was in the overall dinner food quality and menu. Breakfast was super.

This hotel is located bang in the middle of Goslar, the rooms were renovated carefully to mix old wooden structures and modernities. The breakfast was great. We got late due to traffic, but the reception waited for us to check in after closing time. Parking possible on the hotels yard, very convenient.

Amazing place to stay. Very warmly greeted in reception and given plenty of information. Didn't require much but can imagine that nothing would be too much trouble. Comfortable, fairly compact room and bathroom but perfectly adequate. There was no tea/coffee tray in the room on arrival but within minutes one was brought. The bar and inner courtyard are very cute: lovely atmosphere, great place to sit and have a drink. In particular the barman was incredibly friendly and helpful. Can't comment on dinner as we ate out but the menu looked great. This is a hotel we would definitely stay in again if we return to Goslar.

Basically only things that can't be changed due to the age and structure of the building: creaking floors, fairly thin walls and no lift! But these didn't detract from enjoying our stay. On arrival the barman very kindly carried a suitcase up to our room.

Location, location, location! Very friendly staff, we have not yet been fully vaccinated and traveled from Austria transiting via Germany and did not have a negative test readily available but the staff did help us with a quick test arrangement, much appreciated. The hotel is located literally in the center of Goslar Old Town and it take few min to walk to the city hall square and other visiting sites. The bar and restaurant which are the part of the hotel are really cool place to finish your evening after exploring the town. And even search for the reception or parking upon the arrival is an adventure and not a hurdle. Highly recommended and we will certainly back again.

Fantastic breakfast buffet, vast variety, quickly replenished, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The hotel was very clean, rooms immaculate, and the attention to detail was outstanding. Best beds ever,wonderful night sleep. Highly recommend this hotel. So good we have just booked again for December.
