This was absolutely perfect place for my stay in Hamburg! I would recomend it to all "normal" people who look for descent place to stay in Hamburg, no matter if it is bussines or turist visit, is it one day or a week. Value for money is exceptional. Locatio is perfect, near important Altona station, building itself has that "old school" impression, with wood on stairsteps, wooden handrails,...

I liked that there is no elevator, i don't mind stairs, anyway those who need elevator should avoid it.

Reasonable quiet building and location,

Prices rather high ,considering ,breakfast not on facilitys, and basic hotel, almost all hotels now, dont grill since Corona, savings on electricity, not passing on to guests, charging same as if their was grill fry , all about the profits now ,indeed,

Close to everything the staff is super Nice :) the bed is comfortable .

If you are sensitive and wakes up easily like me, then you know you cant sleep peacefully. , but then if you sleep like sleeping Beauty like my partner and my daUghter then this place is great :)

The location is near the train station&city but not loud at all, the staff were friendly and the room was clean&tidy. Check in/out was super easy.

Breakfast seemed a little expensive so we ate outside, the pillows were so flat I had to fold it to lift my head at least a little, mattress is ok for 1-3 nights but not longer. Check in at 2pm is too late, we wanted to arrive earlier.

Fast wifi. Lovely hot shower. Maid service great. Couldn't be closer to Altona station, as I was on a 3 day interrail pass

Was happy with the price I paid, but the much higher price I was quoted when I needed an extra day before my booking was I thought excessive and went elsewhere for that night. But no complaints about the hotel itself

The room was spacious enough for 1 person, cosy and comfortable. The morning breakfast was lovely and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Location is just opposite the Altona train station so it's very convenient.

Having to pay to use the safe

The friendly staff, the cleaning, the beds, the location and the price-quality relation.

The bathroom was perfectly clean, but definitely needs some renovation.

The receptionists were very friendly and helpful and the hotel cleaner always kept the rooms clean. The location is 5 minutes away from the metro and you can walk in Altona and explore the center as it is walking distance. If you are hungry, there are a lot of restaurants in the train station and also in the center. There is a beautiful centaur statue once you walk for 5 minutes, it is worth a visit. Overall, a very good hotel if you're looking somewhere to just sleep and then explore the rest of the day.

Keep in mind that if you have a lot of suitcases with you, you will have to carry them up the stairs as there is no elevator.

The breakfast was surprisingly good and the people that work at the hotel er super nice! :)

Not the comfiest bed, but what can you expect at this price :)
