The location of this hotel is very good, just 2 minutes walk after getting off from the train. It's also very convenient to take U bahn and S bahn from the hotel. There are some good restaurants near the hotel. A very good Chinese restaurant is just beside it. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to the downtown to go shopping and visit the Rathaus (city hall) plaza. Breakfast is very good and costs 28 euro. I invited my friend in Hamburg to have breakfast with us. The hotel is big and has many rooms. It's a little complicated to walk from the lobby to our family suite.

We have to carry our suitcases by stairs because there is no elevator in that area( and there is no space to fix a elevator). Although we have to carry heavy suitcases for one floor, we all think this hotel is very good.

Beautiful hotel, very stylish. Fabulous entrance with stunning furniture and plants. Reception staff very friendly Buffet breakfast was lovely and was in a beautiful setting ,very art deco. With some lovely features .

The room was much smaller than I thought and how it looked on the pictures. I can't remember asking for a quiet room??? My out look was pretty grime, onto a roof of another building or looking at other rooms across from me. There was also a really horrible smell in the shower like rotten drainage. I didn't complain as I was only there for one night ,but meant I didn't want to use the bathroom much. My fault I know as I should of told them.

The entrance is beautiful and the rooms are a good size. We stayed for one night and had a lovely room, so we asked to extend our trip for one more night. Unfortunately the lady at the desk said we have to check out at 12pm, book another room via Booking and then check in again at 3pm. We found that to be quite a faff because we had to pack up and store our luggage for a few hours until we could check in again. Apparently our first room was booked, but that doesn’t make much sense considering it was a Medium King, and there were plenty of those free. It would have been better to move the new guests who hadn’t even checked in yet, they would never have known. The second room we were given was not clean unfortunately, the bed was full of hairs. Thankfully the lovely lady we met on day one switched our room within minutes and room number three was clean. She was a real gem, despite being a new member of staff! It would be good if all the staff were as helpful. You get a bottle of water and tea and coffee in the rooms. The beds were very comfortable. Despite being right by the train station and a busy street, the rooms are absolutely silent! If you’re staying in Hamburg, we’d definitely recommend the 2 hour “Hafen Rundfahrt”! If you book via Booking you can get it much cheaper. Also, the bakery across the street is amazing!!

There is no parking.

The hotel itself looked good, especially the reception area with the wonderful Christmas decorations and chandeliers.

1. The wardrobe in my room had a weird construction. You couldn't hang anything full length, even long jumpers and skirts couldn't be hung freely. 2. No black tea. I am sure you have many English clients (I heard a number of English accents during my stay). Would it be so difficult to have a black tea like English Breakfast or Assam available as an option? Not everyone likes fruit or herbal teas. Darjeeling is all very well, but it is a floral tea, not to everyone's taste (certainly not mine). 3. The service at Emil's Bistro was at times pretty slow. For example, one time we ordered tea and cake at the same time. The cake came pretty quickly, but it was another 20 minutes before we got the tea, by then we had finished the cake.

Really spacious family room and comfortable bed. Eventhough the location is in front of busy area, the soundproof in the room was really good - we barely hear anything :) Breakfast was also very nice, eventough it was the same buffet menu for 3 days, but I really liked that they offer warm buffet including eggs 'live cooking'. Nice filter coffee too. We were there during weekend but though there were many people it did not feel crowded, maybe because the seat is quite spread and due to high ceiling. All in all, I really recommend this hotel esp. for family, even better if you are traveling with train. PS. there are also many good restaurants in the area.

The direction to spa room / gym was not clear. I did not know that it has to use another elevator in the different building side. Thankfully there was a cleaning lady who helped me to find the right elevator.

The hotel was ideal for us, since we were travelling around by train - It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Hamburg’s main station. Mind you, you can hop on an underground train or an S-Bahn to many parts of the city, as most lines pass through the station. Once in the hotel, it’s a real sanctuary. The staff were polite and professional. One member was particularly helpful when we had to sort out something with our train ticket and told us exactly where to go to get it sorted. The room wasn’t big, but it was very quiet and served us well for one night. The bed was big and exceedingly comfortable and we slept very well indeed. The bathroom was well laid out and modern. Loved the old signage around the hotel (e.g. Lifts, etc.) and nods to a bygone era, especially in the entrance foyer and breakfast room.

Being so close to the main station, you do get to see a real cross section of society outside. We felt safe, but we didn’t dither around the vicinity. The breakfast was perfectly fine, but we felt it was a bit steep for what was on offer.

The hotel was even closer to the train station than I expected, we arrived immediately and entered the stately lobby. We were greeted with a fast and cordial check-in and then went out for town. The room was excellent, with a comfy bed and silent. After a perfect shower, A coffee machine and a kettle allowed us for a quick coffee before our getaway We didn't use much of the facilities, but in the lobby sits a great bar and a good restaurant.

Was great start to finish, couldn't really have asked for more. Unfortunately, we staid only one night. It was on the pricey side, but in line with the competition.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel and wanted to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, always going out of their way to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel itself was impeccably clean, and the location was perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. However, I did encounter an issue with one of the staff members in the lobby bar. When we asked to place an order, he told us the bar was closed. A few minutes later, we asked another staff member, who happily took our order without any issues. This left us feeling unsure about the first staff member's behavior, as it seemed potentially discriminatory. Aside from this incident, everything else about my stay was excellent, and I look forward to staying with you again in the future.

Everything in this hotel is very good, very clean and welcoming. The staff are very warm and helpful. Breakfast is very good with lots of varied choices, continental or cooked with plenty of bread, rolls cold meat and cheeses. Bedroom was big and comfortable, with an oversized bed, there are no usb points so remember to take an adaptor.. Excellent location across from Hauptbahnhof and a Paulaner beer hall just along from the hotel. A 7 or 8 min walk takes you to the Rathause.and city centre. Hafencity is well worth exploring, with its beautiful buildings and canals. I'd definitely recommend this hotel..

Our first night wasn't great as we were woken up early with very loud noise coming from construction work to the rear of the hotel. When we complained to the hotel reception staff they were very apologetic and changed our room to one at the front of the hotel, this room was much bigger and had a lovely view which helped compensate for our first night .

Great location for the railway station. Stylish decor. Very polite staff. We had a quiet room at the back - overlooking a lightwell - but with the location of the hotel, I wasn't expecting a view! Nice selection at breakfast, although it was very crowded...

We were there at a busy weekend and the breakfast room was very crowded. The layout of the buffet wasn't obvious - e.g. juice and extra coffee machines were in a side room. Staff at breakfast seemed a bit overwhelmed! They opened up an extra room, so we ate breakfast in a stylish art deco bar.
