Very customer-oriented and supportive staff with any questions I had or support I needed, very rare trait these days when travelling abroad

Excellent view from the terrace to do some relaxing work! Very good food, had the evening dinner special and in the morning breakfast. Both were of high-quality and freshly produced, so very happy with the quality as well as with the portion size.

I got woken up twice Sunday morning to make sure that I leave before noon … later I learned that the cleanup crew only works until noon that day…

The location.

The general atmosphere. A nice guest house but you get the overall feeling that the hotel activities just have to be done. Not even an additional word at checking out. First, but certainly last stay in this hotel although we visit the region twice a year.

The location was wonderful, the food was great, the hotel itself was beautifully decorated, staff was just wonderful, all in all a great place, but one item.

The reason we were not happy at all was that there were no screens in the windows to open the windows at night. The rooms were very hot as they had no air conditioning. when we opened up the windows, it let in all of those tiny mosquitoes. My two year old grandson was eaten alive, and when I say eaten, he must’ve had 25 to 40 bites on him just in one night. We had no choice but to open the windows as the rooms were unbearable to sleep without it. We tried to use the drapery to block the mosquitoes. That did not work. No one was on duty at night to be able to help us. We asked the next day for a fan. None arrived. For this reason we did not like the hotel at all. I would totally recommend that they put screens in the windows so that people could bring in the fresh air from outside.
