The room was in a new part of the building, so everything was brand new. The room was decently equipped (TV, desk, hair dryer, free water, comfy bed - except for pillows). It was quiet. Good location, good breakfast, quick check in and check out and very friendly staff.

Lack of any design or character in the room or bathroom. The bed was comfy but the pillows were not great - with some soft cotton wool inside. Not much of the view out of the window. Annoying electric switched (touch operated) It would be great, if there was a kettle and a minibar in the room. In my opinion it was also a tad expensive (around €120 for a single occupancy) for what it was.

The air conditioning made the room very comfortable during a spell where outside temperatures surpassed 30 °C (85 °F). The floor was clean even underneath the bed. There were two pillows, one of which was large and firm and excellent for my preference -- much better than at most other hotels I had stayed at. There was a free bottle of water in the room. The hotel is just outside "Lutherplatz" tram stop, which unfortunately was not served while I was there due to staff shortages resulting in differed tram lines, but even so, "Am Stern" is not far away on foot and is served by many different trams, making it easy to get just about anywhere you want.

The timer for the light in the bathroom was a bit too short, I felt, but fortunately waving your arm was enough to make the light go back on if you had to be on the toilet for longer than the designers had anticipated. As I had to leave early on the Sunday, I would have liked if the breakfast buffet opened earlier (at the same time as on weekdays would have been fine for me).

Location great short walk to train station and short walk to the museums and exhibitions we came to see! Impeccably clean. Amazing nice staff. Great breakfast. And loved the room for three. Great for three travelers or couple with a child or teenager. I loved that you could open windows and the room had multiple windows. Bright airy spacious feeling in the room we booked. It was a larger room but there are I saw smaller ones.

Everything was great. It was a little noisy from front windows on busy street but that’s been my experience in any hotel in Kassel.

The breakfast room was very spacious and the breakfast itself was generous, with a large variety of food and fruits. Items included different yoghourts, cheese, meat, eggs scrambled or boiled, mushrooms, vegetables, danish buns and all kinds of bread, rolls, toast etc.

the rooms in the new wing of the hotel had kind of interactive lighting, this caused that at night the rooms were not completely dark. if you went to the bathroom the light immediately switch on at the highest level and the humidity pump also started working, creating noise.

There were multiple things we'd very much liked... The bathroom was very big, nice and clean. Also the bed was nice, we've slept like roses. Excellent breakfast, so much choice and tasted really good. We had a nice view on the church across the street. I think we couldn't find a better hotel than this!!

Only one thing, the air-conditioned system had a little mold in it. That should be cleaned.

The location is great. The room was small but comfortable and clean with everything one might need. The breakfast was also great!

There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel where you could drink or eat something during the day or at night. There is a fridge at the reception where you can buy beer, water and some juices, though. A coffee/tea machine in the room would be nice.

I stayed at this hotel with my colleague for a couple of days because of work. Great location.Very nice, quit and modern room with king size bed and good quality pillows and matresses. On the evenings we could sit in the breakfast room and have a good bier. The staff is very kind and helpful. Thank you to the albanian recepsionist for helping us with every question and issue during the stay. They also have a very good breakfast.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful, in the room were comfortable beds and we were able to sleep all of us together in one room (family of 4 with small kids) parking even for our large L3 sized van, great very complete breakfast with gloves sanitizer etc. The baby crib bedsheets were adorable and now I need them for my baby (the hungry hungry Caterpillar)

Nothing, it was great! We typically stay farther in the more nature zones and stay away from cities but this was a great stay

So far it was the best Hotel that we stayed at in Germany. The room was so clean and it was big. We love that we have a balcony in our room. And the Breakfast was so good that we really enjoyed it. If ever we'll be coming back to Kassel. We'll still be choosing this hotel.

A recommended hotel for a night stopover in the journey, room is cosy, newly renovated, nice bathroom, friendly staff, nearby is a very good authentic chinese restaurant. A very good free breakfast compare to similar class of hotel. worth good value.
