- SPA is massive and quite nice. Typical german style, so no clothes. 10 euros to get in, plus rental of robe, another 10 euros.

- WIFI. Horrible. Unstable and slow. Had to use my phone connectivity instead. - BREAKFAST. 20 euros but apart from the bread it felt rather on the cheap side. Plus the garden chairs a bit uncomfortable! - BEDROOM. Lightning insufficient. Too few wall plugs too. - SPA: Hotel manager sort of pushed me to rent the bathrobe for the SPA, but then lots of people inside simply had their own towels. - SPA: people with costumes are allowed in. It's annoying that they tell you you have to be naked, but then they don't check others.

Our triple room was very big. Very good location. Overall nice and clean hotel. We were on a non-smoking floor luckily - not sure how the smoking floors are.

Room not cleaned between days. Spa is an additional €10, and renting robes and towels is €8. A bit outrageous when the robes stank of cigarettes. We also weren’t warned when asking to use the spa that it is a mixed gender naturist spa, and most of the facilities require undress. As two young women it was surprising that the receptionist didn’t give us a heads up. We got into it, as we wanted to get our €18 worth, but it was a shock!

Chose this hotel because of the availability of the spa facilities. Some reviews have complained that they were not aware that the spa was naturist but the info was quite clear. The facilities in the spa were clean and excellent. One does not have to be nude all the time - people wear costumes/towels/robes in the many relaxation areas, both pools and some of the jacuzzzis. The saunas, steam room and cold plunge are nude, although this was not "policed" unless the saunameister came in to top up the water bowl. The rule excluding under 16's did not seem to be enforced. A good place to chill out (!) for a few hours. The aufguss must be experienced! Good breakfasts, bar and (clothed) seating area.

No air con in the bedroom so, with temperatures of 35C outside, room was very hot and smelt a bit sweaty on arrival. Two tower fans provided so sleeping naked on top of the bed with the fans providing a bit of a breeze was tolerable. Dinner in the restauarant was poor (overcooked fish) and few alternatives in the area. A bit outside the main city, but on a tram route. Spa tiled floor very slippery when wet so suitable footwear essential (basic sliders provided).

The room was very spacious. Bathroom/shower was large and comfortable. It was great to have access to the Thermal spa and sauna - for a fee of $10euro! Location was close to lots of local bars, cafe, bakery and restaurants. Easy to walk to the DOM cathedral and other points of interest.

The room exceeded our expectations, with a lovely view of the Church outside. The only small complaint is the bad pillows on the bed. They were synthetic, irregular padded and uncomfortable. Everything else was great! Bed linens, towels and shower were great.

Spa facilities were good, staff friendly, location excellent

There was no air-conditioning in the room but would have preferred that than the 6 fans, not surprised at the electricity charge!

The venue was great—very clean, with friendly staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the Therme Spa complex, which is perfect for relaxing after a long journey. The breakfast was delicious, offering a wide variety of options to suit different preferences. We were also provided with an early check-in by the reception staff, which added to our overall positive experience. This hotel is definitely worth recommending, and we would be happy to come back during one of our next visits to Cologne.

The weather was a bit warm during our visit, and having air conditioning in the room would have definitely enhanced the comfort of our stay.

Unfortunately didn't have time to make use of the spa facilities, but the room was very spacious and the location was great. We arrived late, after the reception had closed, but the spa reception was still open and was expecting us. Parking location map was given to me at reception also, which made it very easy to find the car parking building with the number of one way streets in the area and return to the hotel, just a short walk away.

The room did not have any tea/coffee making facilities, which was unexpected and a little disappointing, but it did have a mini fridge with a selection of cold drinks.

Lovely hotel clean and comfortable. Pool was nice . Nice rooftop area for having a drink . Once you got past the building sight on the lower roof.

Apart from the very young looking girl on the desk who was always smiling and pleasant staff there were hostile. Especially I presume was the manager at the desk . He should not be in this job . I had to ask for milk every day as they don't take milk in their tea or so I was told .So they don't supply it to the rooms. Car park wasn't close by and difficult to find. Even with instructions from the young girl on the desk . She did try and draw a map but we still had difficulty in finding it. We got thrown out of the sauna because we had bathing costumes on. Apperantly the Germans find them unhygienic. They prefer to go in the sauna nude . And the pool . Don't say i didn't warn you. Once you've seen one weiner you've seen them all 😆

Most of the staff were lovely and the spa facilities were awesome. Had a very relaxing time.

The gym (I know you shouldn't expect much from a hotel gym). It wasn't particularly safe: Someone had left a barbell loaded with no safety clips on the ends. When I tried to unload it, the whole thing collapsed and nearly knocked my head off in the process. A member of staff then came along and asked me if I was a hotel guest, then berated me about making a noise (lol).

Staff were very friendly and nice and this hotel has a brilliant location. would use this facility again, also there's a close by local pool that good for kids.

WI was a bit poor but manageable and I got caught out by not being able to take my young son into the spar because in Germany you go in only with a towel. It is what it is being a German custom but maybe a message stating you cannot tale little people to the spar on the book site would be nice.
