The hunting lodge was built in the late 1690's and was a great experience to be in this accommodation. Both the restaurant on site and the breakfast were good. I was fortunate to have a private bathroom as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Whilst the distance from Frankfurt airport was only 14kms, the taxi fares were 45 Euro each way. There is a bus which takes 40 minutes but was unable to see where you were able to catch it from Frankfurt airport. The photos of the accommodation looked more like a castle on the website not a hunting lodge.

The hotel is in three buildings that remain from an old hunting castle that dates back to the 17th century and is located in a nature zone, close to the airport of Frankfurt. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and the WIFI is good. The old mill on the other side of the street has a beer garden with good food, and the breakfast was excellent.

Be aware that it is close to the runway of Frankfurt airport, and along a busy road. Furthermore, the place is often used for weddings and other parties, so make sure to bring good earplugs.

If you dig nature then stay here. One thing to consider though, the mosquitoes are rampant on rainy days (moist and damp) since it has water features around the property. Staff is superb, (Virginia, the back office staff, Iris ) I suggest though to book directly at the hotel website, and not via portal. To avoid mishaps. Other than that, hotel is great!!!

Beautiful heritage building, two very nice suite rooms , , great value breakfast, perfect location

We could hear water going down the pipes from upstairs, plus loud plane noise due to the proximity to airport (but we kind of expected that when we booked). The sleeper couch mattress was not very comfortable. So sleep was fitful. But we like it being close to the airport.

The rooms were furnished with charming reproduction furniture. The location is a natural area of beauty and is very quiet

The continental breakfast which was laid out uncovered. Flys 🪰 were landing on the food so we gave thst a miss. We had bacon the only thing covered and a bit of bread . I wonder if someone could tell Germany that the English don't generally drink Earl Grey Tea!

My room was spacious and well furnished. It was very clean and the feel of the place was very homely and warm. The location in the forest makes for long walking possibilities.

The breakfast was more than adequate, but in comparison with the facilities and the really good restaurant, the breakfast was the most average part of the stay. Despite this, I will certainly recommend the stay.

Fantastic and old fashioned and original hunting castle which was an exciting experience to stay in. Close to the airport and to Frankfurt. Breakfast was excellent too. I highly recommend this place. We will for sure come back.

Very clean. Lovely breakfast to eat on beautiful inner courtyard. Nice room, comfortable bed, very nicely renovated bathroom. Just across from a beautiful nature preserve with fantastic trails. Super close to the airport - convenient for travel while enjoying authentic German culture.

I brought ear plugs which I needed due to the airplane noise. But with those, I was able to sleep well.

some minor repairs should be done. tile defect in bathroom, curtain would not cover window width, so could not make dark, very few power outlets, hair dryer weak, big gap of entry door to the floor

Excellent breakfast. Near the airport for flying out of Germany.

Stairs to room are difficult for seniors and their luggage to use.
