Everything was good and the food was excellent!!

Coming from Canada I wish the staff told us about the expectations of a German sauna. I asked at the front desk and at the receptionist of the spa if we needed to know anything about the rules/expectations regarding the sauna . Both said nothing !! Coming from Canada we do not have saunas where you do not wear swim suits, so needless to say we got in the sauna wearing our swimsuits only to have several old German men giving us instructions of what to do, which we could not understand. I don't care whether we wear them or not, I just wish I knew the rules before entering the facilities.

The hotel was lovely and clean. The pool area was very nice. The staff put up a tippee for the children to play in and provided us with a diaper bin and a changing mat. I celebrated my birthday while I was there and I hadn't told them. My date of birth was in my booking and on departing, they gave me a birthday card and chocolates. The breakfast was also very, very good. Oh, there was also a clothes line in the bathroom which was really beneficial for us as a family of 4 who went swimming every few hours

The soundproofing of the rooms... Our room had a door (locked) to the neighour room, and we could hear all the conversation from within (I suppose they could also hear us)

They charged for the garage, but didn't explicitly say so. I would have expected that to be free, given that it belongs to the hotel. 11 Euro per day isn't particularly cheap either. The sauna only opened at 3pm every day due to energy saving. But for a hotel of that size, I'd doubt it makes a bit difference. I couldn't go for that reason.

The landscape and the grounds of the Monarch were wonderful! The pools were so inviting and felt great to swim after our 60 mile day of bicycle riding.

What I didn’t like was all the smoking of cigarettes on the patio by the outside pool! It took away being able to enjoy the great evening and we didn’t want to sit out there because of all the smoke,

I can definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a relaxed, old-fashioned hide away with friends, family or company.

It you're a wellness geek, you might sleep here and enjoy the vast variety of saunas at Limes Therme.

Very beautiful and silent location. Staff was very nice and the hotel room was very good. Breakfast was also very good.

Buffet in the evening and a la carte were a little expensive and there was no bar in the hotelroom.

Old fashioned and old-looking furniture, dinner buffet not worth 35€ seeing as the drinks are not included, not even water!! Desserts disappointing, only some whipped cream.

Very family friendly, was for one night with my 3 Kids Breakfast was good and a large variety. I loved that they had fresh vegetables and different types of milk.

They had warm coffee at every table and I wish they have had water aswell. Kids don't manage well to carry a Glas of water across the dinning room. Giving that is summer we usually drink two or more glass of water at meal times.
