On a long roadtrip between the UK and Croatia, we chose this hotel because of It's location and as we had a dog with us we thought it would be great for walking her. This couldn't have been more perfect. Picture postcard scenery, beautiful walks from the front door, friendly staff, excellent facilities and a very comfortable bedroom. We wish we had stayed an extra night and didn't like to leave! The air is so clean, the lake in front of the hotel is crystal clear, nature at its very best. Dinner was a surprise, very good indeed, and breakfast was comprehensive and very good quality. We will definitely go back, we promised to drop some Yorkshire tea off for Martin, the kind and friendly gardener!

An absolute great wellness and relaxing experience. The hotel is excellent, with astonishing views and excellent customer service. We had an absolute nice time during our stay and will come back without any doubt. The restaurant serves delicious food during the evening. The breakfast is a very varied buffet with cold and hot dishes including vegetarian alternatives. The food is very natural and well prepared. It includes fruits, smoothies, pancakes, eggs, bread, vegetables, cheese, ham, tea, coffee, etc. The SPA installations are excellent and worth a visit: pool, sauna, etc. We had the 5 elements massage: a very relaxing experience carried by very professional staff. Rooms are very comfortable, and waking up to the sound of a (small) waterfall nearby, birds and surrounded by mountains makes this visit one of our best relaxing experiences.

There is nothing I can think about.

The beds were very good. The staff during the dinner were very nice and helpful. The breakfast is fine. The bartender was very very nice and attentive and friendly. The breakfast selection is nice not upscale.

The reception and the welcoming was very robotic. The gentleman during check-in was almost rude. I tried very hard to be friendly and polite but he did not respond to that. The was not explaining he was teaching me to a better guest. We didnt understand the F&B concept of the 2 seatings for dinner and breakfast. We were told what to do not asked. The staff especially the lady waitress at dinner was very nice and made up for a lot of it. The breakfast service is not really efficient and not really personal. The tables never get cleaned unless the guests leave.

it is as they can“t leave Covid behind : the staff is wearing masks, several shields recomnend customers wearing one, showers spots at the swimming poil keep closed to keep distance, tv remote control is wrapped 100 times in plastic for hygienic reasons, etc. I can understand there are still people living in fear, but what about the ones that don’t? Can all this be more subtile? I felt they hadn’t moved on. It was odd. (the reason why I can’t give it 10 stars)

Positive and pleasant stay, beyond our expectations. Beautiful location immersed in nature, excellent indoor facilities. We enjoyed the restaurant's fine cuisine and rich breakfast.The sauna is large and comdortable and it also has a very well equipped fitness room. We will definately come back.

Would have liked some body lotion / cream in the bathroom.

Overall the hotel was great. Great location, up the hill from Obertsdorf - very tranquil and calm. My mother had a massage and said it was great. The breakfast was fantastic. A table was reserved for us and our dogs- so we were able if we wanted to bring our dogs to the restaurant. The food for dinner was good with a few exceptions. The service was excellent both at checkin and at dinner and breakfast.

The food at dinner was not exceptional but it was good.

Everything was excellent, the pool was clean with perfect water. very good breakfast with many options, I would give it the highest mark but at dinner you didn't have many choices, (if you like more fancy and futuristic food then it's for you, in our family we eat "normal food". PS Great game room.

I would suggest a menu for kids for dinner.

This hotel is, in my opinion, perfect. When we arrived, the staff gave us a very warm welcome and were extremely friendly throughout our whole stay. We then went into our room and were stunned by the amazing view of the mountains we saw from the balcony as well as the beautiful room itself. The swimming pool in the hotel was very clean and big enough to have a good swim. We also saw the game room with the pool table but unfortunately didn't have time to go in there. The dinner was 4 courses, each course delicous and brought by the waiters/waitresses with perfect timing. I also have to mention here that the hotel has very good protection measures during these Covid-19 times. There were a large number of hand sanitizers all around the hotel, all guests and staff had to wear FFP2 masks and during mealtimes, the guests were all seated at a very safe distance away from each other. Finally, the location of the hotel is superb. It is situated in the middle of the Allgäu mountains with the stunning Christlessee lake literally right next to the hotel. All in all, I highly recommend staying at this hotel!

Beautiful location with some great walks close by. Fantastic food. Special mention to Frazer on reception his translation, support knowledge was brilliant and really made our stay! Thankyou

Would of liked some outdoor sun loungers

The location is stunning and the service was great. Nice ambience during the evening meal, fantastic breakfast buffet.

It good very full at the pool and there weren’t enough seats.
