This is my go to hotel when staying in my beloved home town. The location is perfect with everything being in walking distance, even the S-Bahn for any trips to Berlin. There is also a well stocked supermarket next door. I also love that you can open the window and turn off the AC, which is great, but can be get bit noisy due to traffic outside. Also great for female solo travellers. Will book again for my next stay.

I think there was a problem with the mechanism on the door in the room next door, hence my wall and bed were shaking when the door was slammed shut, at one point at 2am in the morning. I believe there were 3 different occupants in the room during my stay, so I think it must be a faulty door, rather than a very strong person slamming it shut. I did report it to the front desk, however I did not have any problems like this during my previous stay.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and hospitality that instantly made us feel at home. The staff were exceptional—always attentive, friendly, and eager to make our stay perfect. The breakfast was an absolute highlight, offering a variety of delicious options that far surpassed our expectations. The thoughtful touch of connecting our rooms was the cherry on top, making our family stay even more convenient and enjoyable. This is truly the perfect hotel for families, combining comfort, care, and charm in every detail. We had an unforgettable experience and cannot wait to return!

The location was excellent. The beds were very comfortable with clean, soft bedding - and a choice of pillows :D The bathroom was nice with a lovely shower! Everything was spotlessly clean. We loved the furniture in the room. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was good quality and I liked that there were plant-based milk options available (oat and soya milks). We liked the bar facility as a place to sit and chat.

The room was quite warm, and although there was air conditioning it didn't seem to be very efficient in bringing the temperature down much. But it didn't bother us too much as it wasn't a warm time of year and the window did open for ventilation.

You can't really go wrong with this place. It is located ideally; it only takes a few minutes to walk into the heart of Potsdam. The main railway station is also only a 7-8 minute walk. The hotel has a business-like lay-out; it is not the most romantic place in the world, but what it lacks in atmosphere it compensates for when it comes to cleanliness, efficiency and space. Staff is friendly and helpful. Housekeeping does a great job too. Excellent price-quality balance.

The room was super neat, comfortable, the bed was excellent, for a person with asthma also so easy to breathe. Bathroom was clean and comfortable too, the room good size. Wifi was sufficiently fast which is also good. Everything worked very well and the location is central.

Lack of body lotion in bathroom was a small minus, for airline travelers with only hand luggage this is always a bit of an inconvenience as the skin dries up in the air and one cannot transport liquids but in small amounts

The hotel was in a great location to the tram and to the shopping/Dutch Quarters area. The hotel was also close to the different palaces via buses or trams. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a grocery store next to the hotel, if you needed any incidentals. We would definitely stay here again.

No real negatives. The room was small, but very manageable. The breakfast was nice with good food choices, but repetitive. We would stay here again.

Excellent location, minutes from historic square, close to station and Park SansSouci. Breakfast was good for an Express hotel...enough variety to cater for all guests. Rooms were super clean and bathrooms modern.

The reception seemed very short staffed when we checked in, but the manager handled it well and was very pleasant and helpful. Kept his cool and got everyone checked in soon

Very friendly receptionist at the check-in. Room was big enough. The location is great- close to tram station that takes yoi to the Sanssouci palace. The Dutch quarter is in walking distance as well as the Potsdam train station. Breakfast had many options and enough fruits/vegetables.

Although the stay was ok, I don't think the price is adequate for the services of the hotel - it's overpriced.

We stayed for nearly a week in this hotel on three separate occasions. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Location is close to the city centre and train station. Breakfast spread was good. Staff were quite nice too. Check in and check out was smooth and front office staff were nice and efficient.

Nothing to complain as such. It would have been nice to have a cupboard in the room. Though breakfast spread was good, it was the same menu all days.

Excellent location central Potsdam. Fabulous breakfast included in price. Extremely comfortable bed, lovely duvet and pillows. Extremely clean and well maintained hotel. Great 3 person room with a comfortable sofa bed. Highly recommended this hotel.

Only downside is limited parking availability which cannot be booked. (There is short term public parking directly opposite hotel or they will direct you to public long stay parking a short drive and walk away.)
