The hotel is in a great location, the parking was underground and fine for our midsized car. The rooms are clean and well looked after. The staff were great and always professional The incuded free minibar is something else that is an extreme positive. A very well presented bathroom with top quality amenities. I would return again for sure.

Sadly, the air conditioning did not work, which meant the rooms were just too warm. This did affect my sleep during the stay. I do believe it is policy in certain countries to have the air conditioning disabled during winter.. but 25°c in the room is just too much.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the gorgeous Sanssouci Park. The room was air conditioned, elegant, impeccably clean, and well-appointed, with a well-stocked mini-fridge. The breakfast buffet was vast and even included lovely jams made in-house. There's a cozy lounge area for a nightcap. At night, it's enough off the beaten track that the room is quiet. The staff are courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It's not cheap, but I learned from a colleague who stayed in a cheaper place, you get what you pay for.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was great. I just wish I had had more time.

The room was lovely, smelled really nice and welcoming. The hotel provided Nespresso capsules or high end tea facilities in the room. The bathroom was welcoming and the shower was excellent. Beds were exceptionally comfy. Breakfast was excellent with fresh ingredients though came with a steep Eur 21 per person. The hotel provides parking again at a Eur 20 charge, but considering it's Potsdam, it's OK. The hotel is situated at one of the gates just outside the old quarter with nice boutiques, restaurants or great bars (Fritzen ought to be on the visiting list if one likes quirky bars).

Location, Style, Bar Bit Most of all the Staff. Congratulations all staff has been always helpful, attentive and mega polite. The chambermaids on the corridor were also very friendly, and the rooms were super clean. The hotel is not new and modern, but you can see and feel that everything is extraordinary well maintained. Super breakfast in a cozy room, again very good staff. Clean, good products ( partly self made) from the kitchen. There was a terrace next to the breakfast room, I suppose that is open for Breakfast on warm Days. Good bar Menu for Drinks choices, with a good local beer. Dining Menu in the Bar (we did not have), but sounded great. We had an excellent weekend, in this super trouper Hotel.

This was our second stay. We travel widely and this is perhaps our favorite hotel anywhere, better than many so-called 5 star places - pleasant, small, modern, comfortable (including good softish beds), great attention to detail in the room design and amenities, and good location. Very helpful English-speaking staff. We cannot comment on breakfast since we tend to rise late and the streets opposite offer a range of alternatives. A truly excellent hotel.

Pillows OK but could be better. More explicit instructions would be good for car arrival, baggage unloading and entrance to the underground (somewhat weird but ultimately convenient) garage.

Comfortable room with terrace. Super comfortable bedding. The breakfast was really first rate and the dining areas for breakfast are perhaps the most elegant we've ever encountered, truly a joy to discover. If you wish to linger over a long, delicious and unhurried breakfast in the most pleasant surroundings I can think of no better place than this hotel.

The receptionist could be a bit more attentive to the identity of the guests. We were initially assigned a lower class of room that that which we had reserved. Another staff member recognized the error and promptly corrcted the problem.

Spotless cleanliness, friendly and helpful staff. The room is well isolated both from the central street and from corridore. When we were inside - didn't hear any disturbing noise. AC works great. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is comfy as well. The location is strategic: the very central and at the same time the place outside is not too crowded. It was really great pleasure to stay there! Really 10 from 10 stars!

Excellent location for visiting all that's interesting, in Potsdam; a pleasant view from our room at the front of the hotel and the efficient double-glazing blocked any noise from the traffic. Close to recommendable restaurants and shops.. and the trams and buses are easily accessible within a short walk. The hotel is well maintained, tastefully decorated and all areas were kept clean, at all times. Our room was comfortable, again interestingly furnished and the heating/air-conditioning worked well. We appreciated the room safe and the complementary bottled water, replenished every day. Both the breakfast room and the bar area were light and airy...and had it been warm enough in the morning, we certainly would have sat on the delightful garden terrace. Breakfast was not included in our booking and at first, threatened to be rather expensive for us vegetarians who usually only eat fresh fruit and yoghurt to start the day; however, the variety of food available, here, ranks amongst our three top favourites and we were tempted on all five days of our stay. Really impressed to find roasted vegetables, a good selection of fresh fruits, soya yogurts, vegan paté and particularly, an incredible selection of proper, loose-leafed teas, rather than teabags! Service was professional and friendly and displays were replenished regularly. Nevertheless, a hotel stay is all about staff and service and the staff, here, deserve a special mention. From our arrival until our departure, the service was faultless in every area. Every query or request was dealt with immediately and efficiently in the warmest of manners. Special thanks to Stefan, Tony, Marcus, Michael and Katryn for making our stay such an enjoyable one and we look forward to visiting again.

Nothing that is worth mentioning.

Our family absolutely loved our stay. The staff were very attentive and informative. Our room was spacious, clean, tastefully decorated, and had a beautiful view of the Jägertor. The hotel is just a short walk away from the rows of restaurants and interesting shops. We found parking to be easy --- their parking garage is small but has the lift-mechanism to fit in more cars, but since there were only a few cars, we did not need to use the lift-mechanism at all.

The hotel is cozy and very clean. Staff was very nice and the breakfast good.

The pillows were awful.
