Riemhofer Alter Schlachthof is more of a restaurant and beer hall than a hotel. There is virtually no hotel service. However, it's clean and relatively close to the center (a 15-minute walk to the edge of the historical center). The breakfast is quite pricey, but there's a nice little bakery across the playground and parking lot in the rear, where one can enjoy a good breakfast at a fraction of the cost.

Nothing was particularly wrong, it was just a strange setup -- some rooms above a crowded and popular restaurant. I had the impression that the rooms were mostly for people who attended events (weddings, parties) at the restaurant.

Nice place, quiet, good food About 20 min walking from the town center. Donau at 20 min.

For dinner, sausages and the most common beer were run out! Can you imagine in Bayern the most typical food the night before a bank holiday Is finished. Next, 22:30 they closed, we had to go to our room, there was no lobby or any other common place for us to stay after 22:30, on the evening before a bank holiday More expensive than some other (better) place where we have been in the same holiday

The description said "hotel parking, based on availability, free of charge," which wasn't exactly correct. We were told we could not park our car on the hotel parking lot and had to use a public parking, which costs 8 Euro per day.

Very nice hotel with a great beer garden. Very good breakfast. Very friendly staff. A leisurely 20 walk along the Danube into centre of the old town

Only negative was that we had a room on the 3rd floor in the attic of the building with no air- conditioning just a fan and it was very hot

Hotel was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Very peaceful area. Location was good enough. Considering the local prices this was excellent value.

Nice and clean. Within walking distance of the Old town.

The room was very warm and without curtains so it was a lot of light very early in the morning

The room was big, same as the toilet. It has a table, chairs and sparkling water given. Nothing special to add, it has the basic.

The host I met at the reception didn't seem quite welcoming, on the contrary she was very serious and cold. But overall the stay was okay.

A real find, this place was lovely. Also brilliantly located, a short walk from the old town. I'd stay again, any time.

Easy to access from the highway. Check-in went very smoothly. The room was spacious (had booked a bigger room as we travel with our dog), nicely decorated, big bathroom, clean, comfortable bed with nice fresh linen. Big tv with large selection of channels. The restaurant has a good selection of well-prepared dishes. All in all I really like this hotel. We stayed here two years ago and I was happy to find that standard is the same.

Not really anything we did not like.
