Quiet country hotel with nice garden. Parking on the premises adjacent to the building. Old world charm, large pleasant room. Close to forested area with potential for different walks. The adjacent Cox Restaurant was excellent. We visited in December and in the forest the walks were pleasant and easy to use despite recent wet weather.

I had an old fashion or classic luxury room of some 25sqm with adjacent spaceous bathroom, which was clean and well maintained. The hotel sits in the forest area in quiet surroundings which invites you to go for a walk. The place is what you expect in Germany, spaceous, large rooms, high ceilings and this old fashion appearance which makes you feel good about yourself for chosing this hotel.

The floor of the elevator is not equal to floor with the rooms, but goes with a step and having various big pieces of luggage was a bit unhandy but not too difficult to manage.

Super friendly staff, literally made you feel so welcome. And the food was amazing, breakfast and dinner. Faultless. Thanks to all the team. We will return (with our two, well behaved black Labradors next time 👌).

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Beautiful location, very large room with relatively private balcony. Great restaurant with nice menu and great service. Rooms are dated but comfortable. Having small fridge and microwave is very handy. Simple but tasty breakfast included in very fair price. Very nice staff.

It’s a bit far from Rheinbacch, but it’s a worth to take a ride. Very nice restaurant with excellent duck Cozy rooms in old fashioned style Nice breakfast with good assortment.

Linens were old and there was no shampoo in the room

Lovely staff and location, quiet room with balcony. There is a restaurant and biergarten opens all day, so all is quite convenient if you dont want to leave the hotel.

A few extra products in the bathroom would have make it even better. There just was liquid soap. A little shampoo, lotion, shower cap, etc would have been a great little extra touch.

excellent location near woods for dog walks and 2 restaurants to suit tastes biergarden for casual and al a carte. i had the surprise menu with wines which was superb and good value for money. comfortable beds and personal service. By far the best hotel this summer road trip through Germany, Austria and Italy.

Fantastic location. Restaurant is superb. Small hotel which is reliably good. Second time we’ve stayed here with our dog. Great walks in the area.

Really comfortable bed, room size, friendly staff spoke English.

The access to the hotel is up a flight of stone steps, in snow these were a little treacherous, check disabled access before arrival.

Nice staff, perfect Location, spacious room.

Duvet was too short and pillows too thin. Minor issue, but these could be improved.
