Although I made the booking for 2 single rooms only my brother was able to travel as I as unwell so this is based on his comments. He has mobility issues and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was very good. The location is excellent- right in the centre. The food in the restaurant in the evening is excellent and a lovely atmosphere. I would second his view as I have been to rudesheim previously and although we didn’t stay in this hotel we did have dinner here. Beds comfortable.

As I’ve said I made the booking. The hotel description states there is a lift. What it doesn’t state is that if you book a single room there is no lift access. It might be helpful if this was mentioned in the information - if it had been I would have booked a double room for single use. However the staff were very obliging and took his suitcase and rollator up the stairs for him.

Perfect location, great facilities and big, comfortable rooms with excellent bathrooms. The staff is amazing - literally all the staff members we engaged with during our two-night stay was fantasticaly friendly, helpful, nice and fun! The restaurant serves great food and excellent wine with a couple of tasty vegan options. There is live traditional German music every evening, and it was surprisingly entertaining, and being in Rüdesheim, you need to be prepared to for things to be a little over the top touristy-wise. Great choices for breakfast (not vegan though).

Access to the hotel by car can be quite difficult due to the very central location. It is paramount that you approach the hotel from the west side (Niederstraße and Kleine Niederstraße) - do not trust Google (!). Remember to reserve parking.

Beautiful buildings and streets. Our bathrooms were old fashioned but grand and the room was really pretty. There was a nice walk in wardrobe. Easy walk to park, playground, ferry, and train station. Breakfast was lovely with made to order eggs.. Slept well. No aur conditioning but I left the window open all night and ut was OK. We had two rooms, one had a bath and the other a walk in shower.

There's a little mini bar but I couldn't find the prices easily. Had to Google them. I had been hoping the water was complimentary.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. You will NOT find a better location in Rudesheim. The staff is absolutely outstanding. The hotel itself is fairytale magical. It is one of the most beautiful places I ever stayed. I cannot wait to return. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows and down comforters unbelievable. The breakfast was beyond amazing with a staff that epitomizes friendly, courageous and professionalism. The restaurant with live music in the evening has OUTSTANDING food and drinks. This hotel is a vacation destination all of its own.

When travelling to big tourist attractions in Europe such London, Paris or Rome, there are a lot of sources for information on hotels to help us pick the right hotel at the right price. However, when travelling to other small destinations, it is more difficult to find resources to help in selecting the right hotel. After checking several hotel options, I felt that this offered what my wife and I needed in terms of quality, location and price, however, I was really not very sure of my choice since this was our first trip to this beautiful town. I emailed the hotel for additional detail information, about room size, parking, and other facilities and information that you can not normally determine from the booking site. I was most pleased with the prompt and detailed responses I received from the hotel’s staff. The hotel was in a great location right in the middle of the town. The room was fairly big and very comfortable, the shower spacious, fast wifi, a mini bar, everything organized and very very clean. Last but not least, breakfast was just great with abundant portions and variety that is better than most large hotels I have visited, and I have visited many. The staff went far beyond my expectations. All I can say is that this hotel was wonderful in my opinion and the staff were just excellent. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely nothing, everything was great.

Loved the location; located on a little cobblestone street along with other cafes and restaurants that were very lively! I wanted a pure German experience and we got it with the people, the incredibly charming old-world architecture, and the food. Big parking lot with an electric charging station. Most guests were quite older, perhaps there was a special event during this time, but it was perfect for my mom.

Wonderful building and good, clean rooms just off the most popular pedestrian route in town. Very friendly staff and excellent restaurant (breakfast and dinner) with live entertainment the night we had dinner. The parking lot is adjacent to the property. (easiest to enter from the backside around the NW corner of the property instead of driving down single-lane, cobblestone pedestrian roads...but that's allowed if that's how you want to arrive)

Downside to this property is that--like pretty much everywhere in Germany--smoking is allowed in the outdoor portion of the restaurant; however, I didn't notice any smoke inside the hotel. If there was air conditioning, I didn't find it.

The location was amazing . The restaurant staff were lovely and friendly . The hotel was beautiful - old one side and modern the other side . Despite its great location in the centre of town the rooms were very quiet .

The receptionist when we arrived was very nice and pleasant .However when I got to my room I found my bed had been made up with a feather duvet .As I suffer from bad asthma I went downstairs and asked if it could be changed .She rather curtly advised me I should have told them in advance and all the room staff had gone home .Disappointingly she did not pass the message on to the room staff for the next day so we put the duvet in the bathroom and I spent the 2 nights with just the cover and the blanket on the bed .She let the whole hotel down and spoilt our impression of the hotel .

We liked everything. Even the bathroom scale. The room was fantastic. The dinner and breakfast was better than fantastic. The beds were comfortable. The duvets were just right.

Can someone tell me how to keep the mosquitoes from biting my husband when you sleep with the windows open and don't have screens?

The hotel is stunning and in a great position to explore Rudesheim and the surrounding area. The service was exceptional, the staff were great and looked after us all really well, nothing was too much trouble. The food was superb, from the wonderful champagne breakfasts to the excellent restaurant food. The rooms were large, well appointed, clean and comfortable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights and would definitely recommend a stay, really fabulous.
