This is the third time I stayed in the hotel, and everything was just perfect. The location is ideal in central Saarbrücken, right at a tram station and two stations from the main train station. I had a room on the top floor again with a nice large balcony with a pleasant view. It's relatively quiet in spite of a busy street not too far away. The room had everything I needed, the staff was very friendly and did everything to make me feel welcome. The breakfast is abundant and very good. I'll certainly book this hotel again for my next visit.

The matress was a bit too soft, but this is a minor issue.

Staff are very helpful and friendly. They are solicitous of your needs without being intrusive. Breakfasts are plentiful and fresh. On my last day, with an early start, mine was packed up for my trip. Excellent coffee on constant supply and lovely little cakes available all day. My room was very clean. I had a single room but it was very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable and there were lots of plugs and lights in useful places. Decor was simple but stylish. I like that they are serious about being environmentally friendly.

No fault of hotel, because double glazing is good. However, I was there at a bank holiday and being so central there were lots of revellers. There was also a wedding. Apparently, the custom is to drive around beeping your horn, and revving your engine repeatedly - for the best part of two hours. I had originally had the window open and therefore appreciated how good the double glazing is. But be aware your sleep may be disturbed if it's holiday time! Otherwise, schlaf gut!

In contrast to many of the other hotels I saw listed for Saarbrücken, the location is very central, but parking is (as other reviewers have noted) less than ideal, and all the one-way streets, cul-de-sacs and on-street parking make finding a parking spot... difficult. The room itself was clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but not too spartan. Another reviewer mentioned hearing bells from the church across the street, but they didn't ring while I was there.

The building is a little older, so the walls are not as soundproof as they could be; I heard a toddler babbling in the next room in the morning, and a woman in the room on the other side faking it the night before... Parking is (as other reviewers have noted) less than ideal, and all the one-way streets, cul-de-sacs and on-street parking make finding a parking spot... difficult.

The location of the hotel is very nice -- close to Johanneskirche and close to the train station. The staff was very courteous and helpful and agreed to keep my luggage for a few hours after checkout. The room was comfortable and the facilities were very good. The weather was slightly on the warmer side, but I guess in this part of Germany (Saarbrucken), it's not usual to have fans or air conditioners in the room (there was of course a room heater).

The WiFi wasn't working in the hotel lounge area, although it was working fine in my room.

The morning reception staff and breakfast waitresses were particularly warm and helpful. Rooms were clean and a good size. Bed was really comfortable and black out curtains meant I slept well. Breakfast was copious and fresh.

It can be noisy of an evening, but it's in the middle of the city, so I expect nothing less, but others may find it a nuisance.

The hotel was perfectly located in the city center. Everything was equiped for a one night stay. The room was quiet and the bed comfortable. The view on the church was appreciated.

There can be some noise with the tram nearby. There is not much intimacy with the glass door with the toilets. There is a parking nearby however the discount with the hotel for 24h stay is not that interesting (2 euro discount).

Very pleasant ant central hotel. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was very tasty, at the moment you have to order what you want the day before and it's served at your table. Not far to the main square or the station. My room had a nice view of the church and there are several bars and restaurants further up the same street, so you don't have to go into the main centre to eat.

What a great little discovery. Quirky hotel with lots of nice touches and attention to detail made this a welcoming, warm and memorable experience. Staff were really lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast was organic and super yummy and really nicely presented. Great location and right in the heart of Saarbrücken and everything is within walking distance. We will definitely stay again and can happily recommend this gem of a hotel!

The hotel is located almost exactly next to the main nightlife area and is therefore very convenient if you plan on going out for drinks or to a concert. Despite this, the room was quiet and very comfortable.

The room looks cozy and everything looks like new.

Staff did not speak English much and there was reconstruction going on the outer side of the building. Also sound isolation was not much effective so there was lots of noise.
