The hotel is in a very nice building, the lobby and restaurant looked great and were tastefully decorated. The staff in the hotel bar was extremly friendly and charming, drinks were excellent.

When we arrived there was some confusion about our booking. Took some time to solve the problem. We were not welcomed as politely as expected, as the staff was noticably in a hurry while trying to explain to us where to find the car parking. Also we were not introduced to the hotels facilities (spa, wifi and so on) and had to take care of our luggage and find our room on our own.

Really great Hotel friendly staff in every area. Pool and spa area is great for relaxing it is nicer than the even the pictures show. Room was very clean and comfortable and was perfect for our trip. The buffet breakfast was fantastic

Only a small thing that the hotel really can't do anything about but we took a city view room don't expect a great view it looks out on to the train station construction area. A capsule coffee machine in the room would be nice instant coffee was provided which is fine.

The staff were amazing and friendly. The room was super comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. Lovely to be able to enjoy a glass of champagne in the bar.

The road works outside currently make crossing with luggage difficult. I would recommend a taxi to the hotel while this is ongoing as the stairs to get up to it from the train station are a little difficult with heavy luggage. But the hotel itself is wonderful

very nice large and clean rooms with good working air conditioning. very nice wellness. amazing breakfast. the rooms are silent, you do not hear anything from the train station just in front if windows are closed.

price was very high and the location is quite far from the centrum. unfortunately not much other hotels had rooms available with air conditioning during a 35+ degrees Summer.

What is not to like. 10 min walk to train. 15 min walk to main shopping area. Staff is amazing. Took care of us like we never knew before. If I could give it more than 5, I would. It is expensive, but worth the price. Most visitors were Americans, which turned out to be great at happy hour.

Absolutely nothing.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, beds comfortable. Even though there were only a few guests (due to Covid and/or pre-christmas season), they had a huge breakfast buffet that came even with an additional vegan section. Thankfully, this hotel offers a reservation for rooms with two beds. Many others only offer one category and the type of bed (either king or two twins) is "upon availability on arrival".

The parking garage entrance is somewhat narrow, depending on your car. The restaurant was closed and dinner with limited choices was available at the hotel bar instead. There is not much to find if you don't want to eat meat (fish wasn't available either), but staff kindly offered to make us a vegetarian pizza (which wasn't on the menu). It was difficult to take a shower without flooding the bathroom. Nevertheless, the overall experience was absolutely positive.

Location.

The entrance and rooms very dark. Rooms much to warm and stuffy, air conditioning didn’t seem to make any difference and couldn’t really leave window open as our room was at the front on the building and lots of traffic noise. Not enough food choice in the evening.

Le Méridien is a fine hôtel that understands service. Big room, comfortable bed, nice linens, very good shower. Outstanding breakfast buffet, just outstanding, with a talented young chef to prepare eggs and other delights. (He will probably have his own restaurant someday). The spa was a plus, with a hot sauna and a warm sauna, but the jacuzzi was closed and the swimming pool water was just a little cold for November.

Even though it is centrally located, the S21 construction all around makes it dreadful to go to the old town. Plus there is a busy 4-lane highway between the hotel and the old town, in order to cross it you must go up flight of stairs and cross over on a footbridge and down stairs again. We were expecting to be able to use the steam room in the spa but apparently it has been broken for a long time (closure not related to Covid ). it was also disappointing to learn that there was no concierge in the hotel.

Very comfortable hotel, great location, staff very professional and friendly, Room was fine and quiet. Spa was clean and well layed out. Good breakfast buffett.

Room could have been a little better appointed, but overall a very pleasant and enjoyable stay.

Safe parking in basement. Very polite and service minded staff. Super room with refrigirator. Really good beds. Nice wellness area with swimming pool and some saunas, also one with 90 degree. Impressive reception hall, and a bar with good athmosphere We did not try the breakfast.

It took us 12 minutes to walk to the start of the main pedestrian street; this sounds maybe not much, but the entire trip goes through a building site with building materials and mess all around along the pathway. With the excemption of one single bier garten, there are no shops, restaurants, cafés, etc. situated along the pathway. Because of this location-issue, we will definately not live at this hotel again until the construction work outside the hotel is finish. Except from this problem, the hotel is excellent in really all aspects.
