Room 107 has a balcony and quite a nice view. Our room (108) also had an outstanding panoramic view. There is a lovely trail, in the forest, that makes for a nice peaceful walk Additionally, there is free mineral water supplied by the hotel and although there is no restaurant, there is the possibility to purchase beverages on site.
There was not much that we did not like actually. We requested an early check-in, but this was not possible. The internet connection was weak. The access to the tower would have made a nice viewpoint, but access is denied. Finally, although we were aware, of the lack of a restaurant, it would have been convenient to dine on-site. Still knowing beforehand we had dinner in the city before arriving to check in.

We felt welcomed 🙏, the owner is nice-helpful and speaks German-English-French as I noticed. Dogs are very much accepted into the hotel : it’s 10€ more per dogs and per nights. Breakfast is also 10€ (not included) and the buffet is fine. The parking is big. All in all the price is extremely reasonable. The location is perfect and peaceful. 10 min away from the historical centre. The view of the city is great and fun to see all the landmarks from up there. The rooms are nice and comfy, cleaned every day if asked. Everything needed is ready. Wifi isn’t so good obviously seeing the location (works still no worries) but it felt good to disconnect for a bit.

The location was brilliant. Overlooking the town of Trier. The lady at the reception was just lovely. Nice selection for breakfast, bed was comfortable. A tea or coffee urn was available from reception, but you need to order this during reception hours so maybe email ahead if you want a tea or coffee in your room at night as there is no jug.
Shower was good pressure, but very small.

The location of the hotel was just perfect for us. Very quiet and a gorgeous view. The building itself was also very beautiful. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable. We could enjoy the nice weather on a terrace. You can also park your car without any charge. The breakfast was also good: you have so many choices. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Fabulous breakfast with huge choice of both healthy and unhealthy stuff. Lovely yogurt in washable glass pots great improvement on usual sugary rubbish in plastic. Amazing view over Trier. Staff quietly helpful. People who prefer an insincere show of constant smiling please go elsewhere. We thought we had booked a room but in fact it was a whole apartment, incredibly cheap. The bed was possibly the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Nice view over a field. Was thrilled to set off on morning run to find extensive network of woodland paths. Loved everything about this place, very casual relaxing atmosphere.

The room we stayed in had an incredible view of the city and its own private terrace. The shower was good and the breakfast was a great value for money. There's plenty of parking space available for free and it takes 10 minutes to get to the city by car. The hotel is located in a very green area, surrounded by trees and nature. Lovely.
The mattress could be better. At first you don't notice but the next morning it kind of sank. It wasn't a problem for us, but you really need a car to get to the city if you're staying here.

Perfect location as a stopover on our way to the Black Forest. Family room was a bit small but more than enough for one night. Very nice view over Trier. Breakfast was very good value for money.
No restaurant to eat at the hotel and not many options in the area when arriving late.

The location and the view from the room are excellent. On a good day, one can hike in the woods. The room was comfortable for two persons. The toilet was nice and clean. The closet had enough space to dump everything in it. The parking was for free.
They could have provided a water cooker in the room. The hotel should have a vending machine given the fact that it is so far away from any kind of shop.

Amazing view for breakfast. Breakfast was also very good. I was amazed at how well the lady at the front was able to keep up with the quest coming and going in addition to keeping the breakfast stock and the coffee hot. Overall, simply amazing. SO MUCH BETTER THEN THE BIG CHAINS.
That we only stayed one night.

Friendly staff, nice rooms, verry clean, excellent breakfast.
We knew in advance that the restaurant was closed, which was a pity but ok. It would have been nice however if we could at least use the terrace during the day or the evening or have someplace else to sit. The hotel has stunning views but sadly we could only enjoy this during breakfast. .
