Amazing location, staff were great, breakfast was delicious and the room (and bed!) was so comfortable

The location of the hotel is perfect. If you arrive earlier in the day you can drop your bags off at the front door, otherwise, there is a parking lot where you can park briefly as you walk to the hotel down the cobblestone pedestrian zone. There is long term parking at the Mercure Hotel across from the Porta Negra. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are helpful and supportive. The hotel does have an elevator for the upper floors. The hotel room (suite) exceeded my expectations. The room was large with lots of windows along with a bonus space upstairs if you were bringing other family members, a shared outdoor patio. The bathroom was large and I enjoyed the luxurious bathtub. Another bonus was the superb WIFI which was very fast. The breakfast is lovely, the restaurant is worth making a reservation, and I recommend making a reservation before arriving. This is my perfect Trier hotel and I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

The breakfast was excellent; a wide variety of cold meats, cheeses and cereal. The breakfast service also came complementary coffee and a choice of how you would like your eggs to be cooked; fried, omelette or scrambled. The location is perhaps the most important for staying at this hotel, everything you would want to see, visit or dine is within walking distance. If you wish to experience what everything Trier has to offer, this hotel is the perfect spot for your stay.

Fabulous hotel in a great location to explore Trier. Our room was amazing with a view of the Cathedral. Bed was very comfortable & the room was exceptionally clean. We were greeted by the lovely receptionist and offered a glass of bubbly. The lady the showed us personally to our room. Which was a great touch! Breakfast was fab with lots of choice. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a great hotel in Trier.

The location is right in the heart of everything. The room was great and the breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. You could order eggs or an omelet with bacon. They had a nice selection of breads, cheeses, and meat. They had fruit/yogurt and juices. We really enjoyed our stay. When we arrived to the room, they had a complimentary bottle of water and a plate of cookies, walnuts, and apple/ orange. At checkout, they gave us a jar of jam.

Fantastic location literally 3 minutes from Christmas Market and centre. Room was lovely, really comfortable and decorated to match the style of the hotel. Breakfast had good selection of foods and they catered for my husband’s gluten free allergy with bread and rolls supplied. Staff were great and nothing was any trouble for them. Remember to pop down to the cellar while you are there, it is the oldest in the city and is amazing to see such well preserved stone walls.

This property is fantastic and the location is central to shopping and the sites. The rooms are well appointed and maculate. Hotel staff goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We arrived early and the staff kept our luggage safe and transferred to the room. Upon arrival we were treated to sparkling wine, and complimentary water, fruit and chocolate. This property is an unbelievable find for under $200 a night and breakfast included.

Limited parking. You can park at the end of the street in a 2 hour parking limit to drop your luggage but then you have to move to long term parking, if you can get a spot. Long term parking is further away but secure.

Great location and rooms are very nice with AC that works great. Superb views. The staff are amazing best service we’ve ever received in any hotel. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have a memorable stay. Made to order eggs for breakfast.

No parking but there is a parking garage very close by and that met our needs

This hotel was a delightful find in Trier. It's just inside the historic center, within walking distance to many of the main sights. My room was beautifully decorated with a huge bathroom, and had lots of cozy touches. The breakfast was very good, and we had a delicious lunch at the historic restaurant, too.

The only thing to note is that the hotel has no parking of its own, and finding a spot nearby can be tricky! (There's also no elevator, but someone did help bring our bags to our room.)

The BEST hotel I’ve ever stayed in! The beds were comfy, the room fantastic, and the view simply could not be beat! Our concierge was also the sweetest person ever, and greeted us with sparkling wine and walked us to our rooms. The water pressure was fantastic and the bathrooms beautiful.

Absolutely nothing. 10/10
