The room was very cozy. The full breakfast was very good, although a bit pricy at 25 euros each. They also had a "business" breakfast for 5 euros each which, since we don't eat large breakfast's, was perfect. They had drip coffee which was a big bonus. The restaurant was well appointed and well attended. We only ate a snack there because we wanted to go into the community to eat. Loved the sauna facilities, one of the best we have experienced.

The hotel is well located for both visiting Trier and other towns and locations nearby. You really need to drive to Trier but it's only about a 15 minute drive.

The staff was very friendly, the building is unique and has character. It's not just another modern hotel. We loved the beautiful garden. The pool is small and cute, and there is a small gym. There is also sauna/spa facilities, but we didn't use any if these because it was hot during our stay (the pool is heated). I think it might be nicer to stay when it's cold. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. There is a bathrobe and sleepers. The towels are soft. We were very happy we were able to check in a bit earlier. The parking was a big plus for us.

It's an old building and as such, missing some comforts. -No airconditioning! We stayed during a heatwave and the rooms were very hot (though that specific day was 28 degrees). We requested and received a ventilator (I don't think we would have been able to stay there without it). But a ventilator is not enough. We knew up front there is no airconditioning- but it is really needed there. - The bathroom is very small and basic - The lift is really small and a bit claustrophobic - I'm guessing that because it was hot, and we were not able to use any of the spa facilities, we found it quite expensive for the room we got. - the location is far from the old city (not a problem for us as we came by car)

The rooms were beautiful, full of rustic charm and very comfortable. We each had a little balcony which was just wonderful. The breakfast buffet in the morning was delicious, with all kind of different breads, meats, cheeses, jams/jellies, honey, eggs, scrambled or cooked, I can't think of all the things we had there. The personal was exceptionally friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful place, we had the best possible time there.

Fantastic breakfast and the Christmas menu was made with fresh products and portions were plenty. Very helpful staff at all stations in the hotel. Very comfortable beds and room (we choose a large room). The opportunity to bring our pet was great, nice she got to spend Christmas with us instead of alone at home. Thank you

Practically everything. The hotel was immaculate in beautiful grounds, plenty of parking, the food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent english.

The pillows! They were a bit odd and too soft for our liking but that's the only thing we can think of.

We had a lovely big room with a good seating area. Big windows with good views. Excellent choice for breakfast. The meals in the restaurant were excellent. Very big portions. Good service from helpful staff. Use the local bus to travel into Trier.

Availability of tea during the day as no kettle tea making in our room.

the staff are delightful in every area. The restaurants are great with a wide variety of food. The room was comfortable and quiet.

The location is well out of town in an area with few bars or restaurants although the local italian restaurant was great. We had to bus, taxi, drive to get anywhere

The breakfast buffet was exceptional and had everything we could ask for. The tables were beautifully laid out and the staff was very helpful. The food was delicious!

Would be nice to have A/C for the rooms but we were able to open the windows to get some air moving. Could be an issue later in the summer but we would still stay here due to the exceptional nature of the hotel.

Stuff was super friendly and very helpful. Everything was extremely clean (and we do have high standards on that topic). Rooms have very cozy vibe. Sauna & swimming pool were actually better than expected.

Wi-Fi is not the strongest. We used the restaurant twice - once to get coffee in the evening (there is no kettle in the room, which for as was a minus) and second time for dinner. Each time took forever to get it.

Friendliness of staff, facilities, great restaurant. Fab atmosphere in this hotel. Looking forward to testing in Summer as there are plenty of nice outdoor dining and relaxations areas.

Pillow was far too soft for my liking! A little noise in corridor. Spa only opens at 12 on Sunday( not sure of other days).
