Everything is spotless inside, most notably the bathroom. Good linen. Comfortable bunk bed. Charging point, nightlight and small shelf for each bunk. Late night hot chocolates available. Fantastic breakfast. Proximity to Alte Main Brücke and Altestadt. Make sure you have a twilight vino on the bridge. Hostel itself is an interesting example of an old building repurposed.

Not enough hanging or a shelf in the shower. Unless you are super organised some of your stuff will be on the floor and will get wet, despite the second curtain. The bike cage is semi-outdoors. It is secure but wet gear will pick up a lot of rubbish from the floor. I found the dormitory key arrangement confusing but maybe that's a hostel-newbie thing.

Marienberg, Main Bridge are just nearby! Many young people were staying here, giving the place a lively, vibrant atmosphere during breakfast or in the lounge rooms.

You may be put in a room, with loud people, who don't consider or care if someone else is sleeping. Just be prepared if you are a light sleeper. You can also buy earplugs on the reception desk if it helps!

The breakfast was quite good. We were able to access the castle right from the hostels paths on the back, very convenient.

We got yelled at because we didn’t have the youth hosteling international membership. We didn’t realize we had to have it since we were able to book without it. We’re not teenagers and we came with no ill intent, so I see no reason to yell at us especially when we could solve the issue then and there.

The staff is super friendly and gives very helpful tips and informations. The rooms are sparkling clean and nicely furnished. The, in the accommodation price included, breakfast buffet offers a large selection of very tasty dishes

The heaters were turned off in the room so upon arrival the room was completely chilled (and this by frozen winter temperatures outside). It's okay to save energy in these times, but we didn't find it appropriate to reduce the comfort so drastically.

The staff is very nice and friendly. The hostel itself is and historical building but its renovated inside It is pretty chic inside with traditional feeling remained outside. Room and bathroom are cleaned. The location is awesome its right under the Marienberg and near the Alte Mainbruke.

One thing i don't really like is the breakfast Its a buffet breakfast but doest have many to choose and its Vegetarian.

Location was great near the famous bridge, very clean, free breakfast included, great staff.

My partner and I were in different rooms as they don’t have mixed dorms. Would have been good if there was a shared kitchen. Bed was okay, could be slightly more comfortable. School groups stay so be aware that there are hoards of children

A good standard as in HI/IYHF hostels normally and not the lowest price (but still ok). Nice staff, clean and silent in the night. The best breakfast I've eaten in the hostel. A walking distance from the city centre. Just under the castle.

You need to have a memebership card or pay 3,5 euro fee which make the offer less attractif.

Hi, everything has been nice, one member off staff been asking me questions,if I will stay longer and so on,then I have told ,that it's just per one night,I came here because of the job.

I have had this feeling at the beginning, that I'm not welcome, first feeling was kinda weird. Some kind of judgement and prejudice.

Personnel is very nice, and I found everything quite comfortable. This being a youth hostel, of course there were eight beds in the room, but on Sunday night I was alone, and one night there was one other lady. Breakfast is good (not the coffee, but there is tea and so on).

The interior design is horrible seventies, plastic and primary colors, but the building itself is quite interesting and old.

The location is a bit away from the city center but a tram or bus stop just in 4 minutes walk away. It is just aside the famous bridge in Würzburg and in the foot of Marine Castle. Breakfast is also nice with offering various cheese, ham, jams, celery, bread and other vegan choices. There are USB plugs in the single room!!
