First, we were greeted by a very nice and polite man at the reception desk. He was our favorite, but the rest of the staff was also super nice. Our room was small and maybe not the most modern, but it had everything we needed. The balcony was also a great bonus. Considering the perfect location, you can stay at this hotel for a very reasonable price and I would definitely recommend staying there and stay there again myself.

Occasionally, you can hear your neighbours and acitivity in the halls quite well. During our last night, there was a very loud ventilator (?) sound coming from somewhere in the hotel. But if you travel with earplugs, it's ok. Overall, it was still one of the best stays I've had in a hotel :)

The Plaka neighborhood is vibrant and unique: worth the visit just on its own. The proximity to the Acropolis is another great plus. The sleeping was excellent: good mattress! The breakfast was more than adequate, a good start to the day. Rooftop tables are an excellent resource: great view as the sun sets behind the Acropolis and lights come on to the Parthenon.

The room was tiny, but that was expected, given the historical architecture of the Plaka. Other than sleeping, how much time do you spend in your room? Minor point: a longer shower curtain could have kept the bathroom floor drier. It wasn't a problem for us, but the Adams may be somewhat challenging for those with physical problems. There is a small elevator, but there is a half flight of marble steps from the lobby to the lowest elevator landing.

Located 5-600 meters from Acropolis in the city center. Very quiet area, only 2 streets away is the relaxation area (restaurants / terraces / souvenir shops). Perhaps it would have been ideal if breakfast could have been served on the hotel terrace with direct view of the Acropolis. The room was decent (has air conditioning / TV / mini fridge), bathroom very small but equipped with shower, sink and toilet. Even though check out is at 11.00, luggage can be kept at the hotel until you need it. The hotel has NO parking and parking in the area seems to be quite restricted. We used the subway for transportation (10 minutes walk away - Syntagma station - 1.5 euros / ticket / 90 minutes travel)

Breakfast was quite unsatisfactory - from my point of view - Coffee, tea, orange juice. Quite poor on the food side (2 options for sausages / 1 for cheese) eggs. Although there is a terrace with a direct view of the Acropolis, it was not used - it would have made a difference compared to other accommodations in the area.

The location - only 5 minutes walk from Acropolis, 3 minutes walk from Monastikari Square. A lot of Restaurant around. The roof tarrace - excellent to watch the sunsets. Very clean and big room with AC. Late check in. Nice and helpful staff. They even have a houses for cats ;)

What I disslike was a bathroom sink and the shower curtain. The bathroom sink was so small that I had a problem with washing my hands, not mentioning brushing my teeth. The shower curtain was not long enough so after shower the water was everywhere.

The hotel was an easy walk from the main train station coming from the airport. It is located on a quiet, walking only street that leads to great restaurants, activities, historical sites, and shopping. The museum and Acropolis were minutes away. It's an older hotel and not fancy, but the staff was great and the room was clean and comfortable. I wasn't able to hike up to the Parthenon, but my family did. They called me and I waved to them from the rooftop terrace. That was super fun. Breakfast was standard, but good. I would absolutely stay there again.

The bad reviews scared us a bit. However, the hotel was quite clean. Yes the furniture was quite old, the walls were very thin, but there was no problem with the cleanliness of either the bathroom or the bed. This was enough for us. I can't say anything about the breakfast, had limited options, disappointing. However, the location of the hotel is quite good, there are plenty of options. Thank you.

Excellent location all main historical sites within easy walking distance, we could see the acropolis from our balcony all be it a side view. The beds were very comfortable and the balcony was a bonus.

Breakfast was continental and very nice, however after 10 days very repetitive, a change in the choice of cereal or bread etc would be good, the juices were not fresh juice. Having said that it was a perfectly adequate breakfast just repetitive but most people only stayed for a few days at a time so it wouldn't be a problem.

Perfect location for access to all the Plaka has to offer, walking distance to the Acropolis & several other attractions. The bed initially felt like it might be a problem, but it was very comfortable. The balcony was way better than the photos looked, it was rustic but charming. Way better than I expected from the photos. Staff were helpful, breakfast was handy & again the location was perfect! Highly recommend

The only thing I could mention is having breakfast available earlier as we wanted to get up & going to avoid the heat.

Proximity to things we wanted to see in Athens including the Acropolis - all walking distance. The room had a large balcony. It was good that we were allowed to have a breakfast pack when we had to leave early before the restaurant opened. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast options were limited but better than some other places that we stayed at. The lift was very small and limited ventilation. We therefore chose to use the stairs.

The location is perfect, a few minutes from the most popular spots in the city, like the Syntagma Square, Acropolis, Hadrian’s Gate, Monastiraki Square, etc. The hotel is clean and cozy. The stuff is super friendly and easy-going :) Your room is cleaned every day and you get also new towels! The breakfast is good for everyone - you can eat both sweet and not-sweet things.

In general everything was fine, the only minor inconvenience was the private bathroom - it was super small and looked like it should be renovated.
