The hotel's location is excellent. Right next to Syntagma square, therefore walking distance to Syntagma tube station. Furthermore, all famous landmarks are within walking distance like the Museum of the Acropolis, the Parthenon, Monastiraki, Plaka, Thiseio, Ermou street (the most famous high street of Athens). The National Garden is right across the hotel, highly recommended for a stroll and then carry on down to Zapeion or even to the Panathinaikon stadium. Last but not least, the tram line passes right in front of the hotel, albeit slow it offers a nice opportunity to travel down to the southern suburbs of Athens, like Faliro and Glyfada (Athens riviera). The Greek Parliament is also situated down the road from the hotel, which means that this area is very safe! The hotel has an agreement with a car park on Xenofontos street right next to the hotel (there is an additional charge per day), which is very convenient if you are renting a car. The breaksfast was very good too, with a lot of choices.

Nothing that I can think of

The staff: reception, bar, cleaners and restaurant were all very friendly, polite and professional. Location was great. 15 min walk to start of Acropolis. The tomb of the Unknown Soldier across the road. Tour bus stop also across the road. 10 minute easy walk to bars, tavernas etc. Breakfast was more than adequate.

Above all the location is great, nice hotel, large room, good breakfast and helpful staff.

there was a problem with the air condition, the room was hot and could not be cooled down. air condition not cooling and window opens a little on a small part (security reasons?) it was un comfortable.

Obviously, the location is superb, which is why I chose it. The welcome from the lovely lady at reception was so great too - helpful and friendly - thank you. I wanted a traditional, comfortable hotel and a home from home feel. This suited me perfectly and the room was fabulous - spacious, extremely comfortable bed and a big balcony with a view of the Parliament building! Superb. The breakfast was very good and the staff were helpful and friendly.

Nothing😊

We were very impressed with the Breakfast service. Everything from the offerings (plentiful) to the rapid turnover of tables so you weren't left waiting for a seat. It was better than most hotels. It was a great way to start the day. The rooftop restaurant was absolutely lovely. We enjoyed a very nice dinner there our first night. The atmosphere and views really made the dinner very special.

This comment is no fault of the hotel. The noise from the street in our room was very intrusive. Again, no solution other than perhaps requesting a room in the back of the hotel. But then you sacrifice the view. So, keep the balcony door closed when in the room. I found the lack of wash/face cloths in the bathroom to be puzzling omission. They are a necessity and I had to do without. Why no facecloths??? They are an essential hygiene item.

A very warm and efficient welcome, even though it was before 10am. Our bags were taken care of promptly and reception said they would call us a soon as our room was available, which they did before 11.30. The room was a very good size for a city Hotel, well located opposite the National Gardens and diagonally across the road from the Parliament Building. We watched the Sunday ceremonial changing of the guards from the roof top Restaurant. All staff we encountered were very pleasant, helpful and friendly. The Breakfast was very good and plentiful. Coffee from either in a thermos jug or from a machine was good. The bus stop for local buses and a choice of city tour buses was directly across the road.

A little dated and could do with an update. Hairdryer is the old style attached to the bathroom wall, not easy to style hair at all. A/C seemed to us to be perhaps too cold and not able to adjust the temperature only the fan, again an update would help. Given these issues would we stay there again, yes definitely.

We spent 5 days walking and discovering the centre of Athens and I think you can spend another 5 days and still not see everything.

People smoking when you are eating. Indoor or out it makes no difference. Others should not have to breathe in the smoke.

We love this hotel and can truly recommend it. The value for money is excellent. The staff is extremely friendly; upon arrival, they immediately take care of your luggage. The check-in process is seamless, the rooms are spacious, the air conditioning is quiet and works well, the refrigerator is large and stocked, and the free WiFi is outstanding. We find the breakfast to be very good, served in a large, bright, and very clean dining area. We also slept well and peacefully; any disturbances would only come from inconsiderate neighbors. The location is superb. You can easily reach the hotel by metro (Syntagma station is no more than a minute away), the tram line 6 stops 50 meters away (which takes you to the beach), and taxis are easy to get. If you want to go shopping, Ermou Street is just a 5-minute walk away, and the large department store “Attica” is also 5-10 minutes away. You can also walk to Plaka and the Acropolis. Since 2024, we highly recommend visiting the rooftop terrace, which offers views of the Acropolis, Lycabettus Hill, the Olympic Stadium, and the park. For us, no other hotel comes into consideration; there are certainly alternatives, but they are much more expensive. Since many guests stay here before their cruise, it’s good to know that you can easily reach the cruise terminal by taxi for about 20-25 euros. Von meinem iPhone gesendet

Unfortunately guests can smoke inside the new rooftop restaurant, They open the large glass window and then it becomes for the manager and „open / outside“ location. Our experience was spoiled by 3 non stop smoking guests. Food was very good .

The location of the hotel was excellent. Directly across from the airport metro and within walking distance of lots of attractions. The staff were also excellent. Very efficient, friendly and helpful reception desk. The bar/restaurant on the 7th floor was also lovely with a great view.

I was travelling for business and the room was small, so there was no chair for the desk. That said the room was very comfy, with double bed etc. and I would have been happy enough if I was on a city break. Just made getting some work done awkward. Very minor issue and probably my own fault for booking the small room!
