I like that i can see Acropolis right from my balcony but the balcony is shared with another room and for a woman who's traveling alone it was a bit of uncomfortable for me. But I guess if you are traveling with another one then it would be fine. The light was a bit too dim, but it could be that I need the room to be very bright and it would have been perfect for someone who does not require that. The staffs there were really nice and they have made my stay very pleasant. The location is the perfect part. It was close to almost every site I wanted to go and it was walking distance to ancient agora, roman agora, Acropolis and Acropolis Museum. Overall it was real nice.

As i said, the shared balcony and the light. But they didn't really affect my experience. Although it would be better if the Wi-Fi connection were better.

Great location that is centrally located. We walked everywhere! Super cute, small hotel where each room is different. We had booked 2 rooms for our party of 4. It was SO hot when we were there in July but it had good air conditioning. Mini fridge with cold drinks in each room and extras in the hall to replenish were a nice touch. It was very clean!

It is located right above a restaurant that plays loud music fairly late into the night. One of our rooms was directly over the restaurant and could really hear the music. We had a white noise machine and got used to it so it didn’t really bother us but I could see how some people could hate it. The other room was up another floor and faced a different direction so they couldn’t hear the music. The second room had a flight of stairs in their room to get to their bed (loft-style). They were young and loved the novelty! Some people with mobility issues could have a problem.

If you are visiting Athens I could not recommend this location enough. It is perfectly situated on a bustling street filled with life, being only a 5 minute walk from the city center and the metro. We could walk right out the front door and walk in any direction to experience the amazing atmosphere of Athens. The staff were extremely accommodating and enjoyed talking about the best places in the city to visit. Then there is the rooms, we stayed in three different rooms because of different locations in different days so we were able to see just about everything. Even in the room with the smallest windows we could look out and have a beautiful view, but the best was the executive suite, which has an unblocked view of the Acropolis, I thought it was a picture at first! I cannot say enough how amazing this location was, I know there are lots of places to stay in Athens, but this should be at the top of your list!

Super helpful staff who welcomed a very tired traveller, and arranged a delicious meal quickly, sorted out transfers efficiently. The coffee machine in the room was very convenient. There are a few steps up to reception, and an elevator to rooms, so my suitcase wasn't a problem. Complementary fruit, snacks, water and soft drinks for guests is a lovely touch - made it easy to climb the Acropolis before the heat and crowds arrived! Maria also provided a guide book to help me get around Athens, and arranged a room transfer when I stayed an extra night. Thankyou - I'll be back!

Nothing really. - Monistriki Square can be noisy, especially on weekends, so I had to keep the windows shut. On the upside, this meant the room stayed cool.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Emporikan Hotel during my visit to Athens, Greece, and I must say it was an experience that exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived at the hotel until the day of my departure, we were truly captivated by the hotel's classic charm, exceptional service, and luxurious amenities. As we stepped into the stunning lobby, I was greeted by the warm and attentive staff especially Maria who made us feel like a valued guest from the very beginning. The check-in process was seamless and efficient, and the staff provided me with all the necessary information about the hotel's facilities and nearby attractions.

Our stay was too short..will be back!!

Exceptional person service on every level. All our questions were answered and we had great advice about transportation, sites, and restaurants. We stayed 4 nights and wish it could have been longer. Truly in the heart of Athens. Lovely walks to all major sites. There was fresh fruit, snacks, water for us every day. A special thanks to Paulo, Lisa, and all the staff. They are extraordinary!

Everything is wonderful but guests might need to know there are about 8 marble steps at the entrance. Staff are most helpful with luggage and all floors are the accessible by elevator.

I was located walking distance from many historical sites, restaurant's and shopping. Neighborhood was safe. The ladies who ran this establishment were pleasant and very helpful. I felt like I pestered them for help so much, but they were always cheerful and ready to help. They helped us with a tour mix up and arranging for cabs. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and the place is clean. They water, some soda and fruit available. Also offered us wine to drink. Several restaurants are available outside the door with a beautiful courtyard with lots of seating for people watching.

The elevator door did a 5 jig before it closed. LOL

Large Room with Balcony and amazing view of Acropolis. Excellent location with plenty of bars and restaurants in the area and only 15 minutes walk to Acropolis and all other historical sites, markets and eateries. Complimentary Water, Juice and soda water in fridge and also in hallway along with fruits, nuts and boiled sweets. A storage room for luggage is available if not leaving until later in the day which also has a seated area for you to wait for collection and CCTV so you can see when your taxi arrives. Always got responses in a professional, friendly and timely manner to questions asked via booking.com app and all staff we dealt with at the hotel itself were friendly, hospitable and professional offering guidance and help with everything we asked about.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this property.

This is our fourth time staying at Emporikon Athens Hotel and we will be back again when we’re in Athens next. This lovely boutique hotel is situated in a perfect central location and walking distance to a great deal of major historical sites, the Acropolis is within view, also to great restaurants and shopping, including Ermou Street. The staff are consistently super friendly and eager to please and accommodate to all needs. The hotel itself has really good sized rooms, it’s very clean and with all the required facilities and more. Excellent in every way. Looking forward to our next stay!

The Emporikon is a beautiful period building nestled on a bustling square handy for coffee and pre dinner or after dinner drinks. Opposite a beautiful church with chiming bells (not too early or loud!), most rooms offer a sweet view up to the acropolis which is particularly beautiful lit up at night. It's a great base location for a city visit, a short walk in one direction the main strip of souvenir shops leading up the acropolis, the other for the shopping and fabric district, with plenty of cafes, restaurants and food spots along the way. This was our second stay at the Emporikon, the first with our toddler daughter and they couldn't be more accommodating, checking her sleeping arrangements and offering options to make travelling with a small child as easy as possible. We will definitely be returning as a family for sure.
