The location was very good. It was close to the old bridge making it easy to get to the restaurants on both sides. There are many great places to eat within 5 minutes. The promenades are great - nice level even walkways. Great staff in general but particularly at the front desk where they helped with suggestions and directions. Very safe feel to the area. There is a grocery store 6 or 7 min away. Great people watching place - it reminds me of the Jersey shore boardwalks.

The surrounding buildings ( and thus the views ) are somewhat decrepit - not as in run down unsafe neighborhood but lacking in eye appeal. The motor cycles seem to like the midnight hour to roar by but this is only intermittent.

The rooms were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel must have gone under renovation as it was modern and in good condition. Mr Panagiotis from the night shift was very kind and professional and assisted us with our needs.

The underground parking is a bit tight and not easy to maneuver but we saw another hotel parking space, not too far from the hotel -maybe a block away.

The people working there were very kind and friendly. The room was also very clean and perfectly organised and had everything you might need. The location was very central and also we got offered a car parking spot at the underground parking of the structure. Our experience at John's hotel was excellent!

Very helpful staff. I cut my foot and had to go to A and E and the lady at reception couldn't do enough to make sure I was ok. Great location on the seafront in reach of lots of lovely restaurants and the buzz of the evening socialising, but also two minutes from the centre of town. Room was spacious and beds comfy. Very quiet. Not an exciting view from the balcony as it overlooked a garage, but a balcony nonetheless and nice to sit out in comfy chairs.

Breakfast was huge - cold meats and cheeses etc, but hot food was cold and congealed. It would have been nice if it had been smaller amounts, replenished regularly to keep it fresh.This is just an observation and not a huge issue.

The suite was modern and very comfortable. It had a living room containing 2 large leather arm chairs and a sofa, a separate bedroom, and a very large balcony with table and chairs. The bathroom was large and modern. The hotel is very close to the harbour boardwalk, and surrounded by many cafes, pâtisseries, and restaurants.

There was no coffee maker. However, the hotel's excellent restaurant provided take-away coffee for a nominal price.

Clean and modern. Excellent location for shops, cafes, restaurants and bridge. The hotel has a small car park where you can reserve a space a very short distance from the hotel. Great value buffet breakfast for additional €8pp. Beautiful open air bar in the hotel.

The Location, the service by the Receptionist Panagiotis. Simple room cosy enough with balcony and veryyyy comfortable bed. A plus wasthe free parking.

A bit overrated for the amenities and facilities of the room.

good breakfast included. Sophia was so friendly and offered to make us new food when we came down late as baby was still sleeping ! so sweet.

the underground parking was scary and so tight to get in and out. I thought we were going to get stuck! the AC unit was a little annoying the shower gets the floor really wet. the noice of the cars all night takes getting used to.

Great hotel in the city center, right by the promenade where all the restaurants are. Facilities were great, rooms were clean and comfy and breakfast was excellent. We have decided to prolong our stay and even requested an upgrade to a suite which was phenomenal. 2 bedroom suite on the 5th floor with amazing large terrace overlooking main street and Chalkida bay where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Perfect bathroom. Really great hotel for a fantastic stay in Chalkida.

Not hotel per se but the main street is loud and busy at night so try to avoid rooms facing main street.

Not that close to the beach. Parking was too far... The bar was noisy, right below the balcony. It was too noisy for small kids...
