Where to start! The reception was warm and welcoming even arriving after 22:00. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and shower wonderful. The breakfast was excellent, and plentiful, with a wide range of options. The filtered water available, all day, to fill your water bottles is just fantastic. The pool and pool bar were perfect. Being a smaller hotel, it was not crowded. The laundry service is a brilliant bonus as well as being able to shower after checking out with a late flight. Altogether a wonderful stay; personable family run; friendly and helpful staff. We hope to return.

Having to leave! Felt the room could have a few more hooks for wet towels or perhaps hanging space for wet costumes.

Everything was perfect and relaxing. We stayed for 3 nights with breakfast included was the best stay. If you want a bit outside the busy city, peace and relaxation this is the best place with 5 minutes climbing down the steps to the beach and a big pool and a lovely view. The staff were lovely and friendly. And the breakfast was very good.

We loved everything, but just be prepared you need a car to go to the main cities like Chania etc and to the beach you need to climb down the stairs like a little hike, just letting y'all know. But we loved it.

Everything was lovely. Cozy room, excellent breakfast, incredible view, great quiet location within a short drive to Chania old town, and the view!! You can’t ask for more welcoming, gracious hosts. the pool was so nice, and there is a cafe for drinks and snacks available on the premises. I’d stay here again without hesitation. Excellent, fast WiFi, too, for those needing to work or be online some while traveling. Many nice restaurants within a 5-10 min walk.

Nothing - everything was fantastic!

Probably one of the best hotels we've ever stayed in! A lovely boutique style hotel, with a lovely family ownership, and extremely friendly staff, always service with a smile. Excellent pool and bar area, plus we had a beautiful sea view from our room, with some amazing sunsets on offer. It is easy to get to from the aiport, by taxi, or if you want to save some money, by bus to Chania, and then a bus to Stalos, plus, as an added bonus, there is a very well maintained sandy blue flag beach just across the road. Great selection of bars and restaurants nearby too, we would highly recommend Maria's and Nektar Beach. This is not your average 3 star property, its so much more than that, and really deserves a higher rating. Honestly, we just had the most amazing stay, and wished we had booked for longer. We've already discussed another trip there in a few years!

We loved everything! As the property is on a hillside, there are a series of steps down to the roadside and beach, which if you've had one too many could be an issue haha, but we quickly got used to those throughout the days! In conclusion, we were truly delighted with this gem of a property.

Friendly family run hotel, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is clean and immaculately maintained. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Evening meals and drinks very reasonably priced. There are good restaurants and bars in the local area and the beach is lovely, with several beach bars. This is my second stay here and I would thoroughly recommend it.

There is nothing I don't like about this hotel.

The location to the town of Stalos and the beach is great. They have an awesome pool, comfy beds, and it was really clean. They helped us book a taxi to the airport for the morning we were leaving, even though reception wouldn’t be available at the time we needed AND they knew we would be missing breakfast so they made us sandwiches to take on the road.

To clarify a previous review since we stayed there twice during our trip, when you get sent the message from booking.com after booking and it states “free transport from and to the airport” they are talking about if you were to rent a vehicle through them. They will help you book airport transportation, but it is 40 euros.

The location of the hotel is just outside the town of Chania (10mins drive), for me this was perfect. The hotel has a high view point looking out over the sea, mountains, peninsula and an island off the coast. Amazing views of the sun setting can be seen if you have a sea view apartment. Breakfast was simple and tasty with freshly cooked eggs on request. The menu for evening food that we had was very good value for money and I would definitely recommend checking it out before venturing out for other food. In the room, the beds were comfortable and the shower very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The bathroom took a bit of getting used to. Having a shared sliding door between the shower and the toilet is definitely an innovative approach, but that means that the toilet is never fully closed (top part is open, the door doesn't cover it entirely to the ceiling). It was not a problem for me, but my wife struggled a little bit.

One of the rare places where we truly felt the family business vibe. Everyone is heartwarming and welcoming. The cleanliness is impeccable, the location is beautiful, and the facilities are very well maintained. The breakfast was solid in both quality and variety of food. We felt very welcomed throughout our entire stay.

We had really great experience with this hotel! Perfectly clean, modern, they have so friendly staff. It was very silent and rooms are very good isolated. The view from the room is amazing. Beach is only 5mins away by foot and the bus station also. From there you can go to Chania in 15-20mins. Breakfast offer is really wide and for everybody there is something to find. Hotel bar restaurant works also all day long, so you can come over for lunch or dinner under very good prices and food was nice. We really liked the area also. Alltogether we bring very good impressions from this vacation!
