We enjoyed our stay very much, from end to end. There was one receptionist (Kostas) waiting for us despite our (very) late arrival. He was extremely friendly and helpful. The room exceeded our expectations, super quiet and with an amazing balcony. The staff were super friendly at all times and the entire property was clean, tidy and well taken care of. There are a few shops nearby that stay open until late, which we found very helpful. We rented a car to go around, so didnt check the Stalos Beach, therefore cannot comment on that.

There is nothing that we didnt like about our stay.

Very nice place for families in Kato Stalos - 3 minutes to the sandy beach, restaurants everywhere within 3-5 min walk distance (we recommend Maria's!), supermarket just round the corner. We've had spacious apartment with large balcony (1st floor), AC working fine, fast and stable WIFI. The pool was OK, never crowded, always with an option for free beach beds. There is a vending machine onsite with some basic snacks and drinks. Staff very helpful and kind. There was a place to park a car, perfect location near Chania (19 min by car) to make trips to Falasarna, Elafonisi, Rethymno (1 hour 10 min by car) etc. The airport - 37 minutes by car.

Agree that breakfasts, especially when you stay 5+ days, could be with a bit more variety, but to be honest, it's not a big deal.

This was an excellent place to stay. The setting was quiet yet within 150m of shops, restaurants and the beach. The place was spotlessly clean. Our apartment was serviced everyday. Clean towels every second day, beds changed every third day. Bins changed everyday and they kept the bathroom and floors spotless. Breakfast was very good, there was something for everyone. The staff were wonderful, kind and attentive. The pool area was always quiet and it was easy to get a bed. There is plenty of room for very safe parking but you can easily survive without a car. The bus stop for Chania is just down the road. It comes every 20 mins and costs €2 which you can pay with your debit/credit card. You’ll be in the Old Town in 20 mins. The bus also goes to Kissamos in the opposite direction and would cost a little more. Be sure to bring your own sun cream. It’s about the only expensive thing in the shops and Lidl, strangely, don’t stock it.

Halen kitchen serving lady is so good and prompt in filling up food. We had breakfast inclusive package and it was 100% worth it. Kostas and his brother owns the property and they were very good. They bought a baby food blender after asking once as my baby was still on puréed. My baby had a fever and I haven’t packed a thermometer with me, I asked Kostas if he has it and he can to give me straight away. On the day of our arrival we were late with our arrival time, Kostas called and made sure we have reached safely in the apartment even though it was out of ours. Absolutely impressed with their service and highly highly recommend. And yes the room service is excellent again. They change the bins every day if need be , bed sheets changed every 3rd day with a clean towels.

The only down side was the kitchen was little small for me as I am use to cooking at bigger space kitchen. But that’s something I can easily overlook considering the level of good hospitality Kostas and his brother and their staff provides.

Artemis staff were very friendly, the rooms are cleaned daily, the pool is great and clean, the room has everything a tourist needs for relaxation.

Thank you very much Nikos and Kostas, we had a great stay in Stala village, near Chania city. The flight was late, so the hosts arranged our transfer from the airport to the hotel, everything was on time, quality and fast. A pleasant surprise - the hosts left water in the room. Artemis Hotel is not on the first line of the coast, but very close. After crossing the street, the best beach in Crete can be found not far away - sand and sea, no stones, very safe for children.

Basic breakfast but good enough. Huge balcony room 16. Quiet big room. Good bedroom with good beds. Everyday cleaning. Good swimming pool and enough free sun beds. Minikitchen and fridge with a small freezer.

There were only two tiny pictures on the living room walls, needs "woman touch". Stalos is little bit too quiet place, but Chania and Platanias are quite near by bus ( 2€/each). Unfortunately buses are often full so you need to take taxi (Chania 20€. Platanias 12€)

The room was clean. The gave us clean towels, slippers, shampoo. The room has good A/C and reliable Wi-Fi. The poo area was very relaxing. The breakfast was tasty with varieties. Available parking.

Artemis Apartments is a truly wonderful place to stay, made even more special by its magnificent hosts. The rooms are spacious, spotless, quiet, and comfortable, with excellent Wi-Fi connectivity. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome in a warm and friendly environment. The hosts went above and beyond, offering excellent suggestions for traditional Cretan restaurants and assisting us with helpful local travel information. Our apartment was on the first floor with a big tarace where we enjoyed breakfast every morning. The apartment was super clean and refreshed before the season I assume and was cleaned every day. The staff was always ready to answer any questions we had and helped to arranged taxis etc. Swimming pool was cleaned every day as well. It exceeded our expectations and now we are planning to come back here next year. Thank you Artemis staff!
