We had a wonderful stay at Pension Ptolemeos! 1. The host, Katerina, is a kind and caring elderly lady. She was always ready to help with any questions we had about Santorini, and she provided us with great support during our stay. From changing the bed sheets daily to offering a microwave for heating food, she made us feel truly at home. 2. The accommodation offers great value for money. It’s in an excellent location—just a short walk to the center of Fira—making it super convenient for shopping and dining. 3. We also loved the private swimming pool just outside our room! It was the perfect place to relax, soak in the cool water, and enjoy the warmth of the Mediterranean sun.

Katerina was so lovely and helpful. Treated us like family and helped with everything we asked for. We had a triple room which was perfect. There was plenty of space for luggage and a big wardrobe with a safe. Everything was so clean and well presented. The bathroom was basic, no different from other hotels we’ve stayed throughout Europe. We had a little balcony overlooking the pool which was gorgeous. There was a little table and chairs and also a small pullout clothes line. The beds and linen were so comfortable as were the pillows. It felt so safe was quiet. The bus stop, shops and eateries are no more than a 5 minute walk which was perfect for us. Katerina stored our luggage after checkout. If I go to Santorini again I’ll be sure to stay here again. Such a great price too

We stayed at this hotel for two days, and the service was absolutely top-notch. We never felt the lack of anything during our stay, and every small detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The location was perfect, conveniently close to the bus station and Fira, making it incredibly easy for us to explore the area. A special mention goes to Memoza, who was extremely helpful and guided us with everything we needed. We are truly thankful for her support. For convenience, I would rate this place 10 out of 10. Everything was managed perfectly. The hotel provided us with morning snacks and water, which added to the comfort of our stay. Our room was fantastic, with a very comfortable bed and a balcony where we enjoyed spending time. Every aspect of our stay was flawless, and we never once felt homesick. This hotel truly made us feel at home!

We were warmly greeted by a lovely lady who was incredibly kind and highly knowledgeable about the island. She gave us a map and took the time to explain the main landmarks. She then showed us to our room, which was spotless, very spacious, and already cooled with air conditioning—a welcome relief as it was around 34 degrees outside. There’s also a small communal pool, which was a pleasant bonus. The location is perfect: right in the heart of Fira. Just outside the hotel, there’s a great spot for breakfast and a convenient quad rental place. The center of Fira is just a 3-minute walk away.

The bathroom could use a bit of refurbishment.

The property was perfect! The amenities were stunning (the pool was the perfect way to relax and cool off), and the location was prime. Everything was perfectly clean, and nothing was ever dirty. The internet worked perfectly as well. Most importantly, the staff were amazing. The older lady that owns the place was literally the sweetest person ever, along with her partner that worked the reception. They both cared deeply that our stay was good, and helped us with directions and booking cabs. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in Fira Santorini, close to nightlife and restaurants while being far enough away that it is not loud.

Very successful stay. The hotel is close to the center, cafes and restaurants, and at the same time in a quiet area without the noise of crowds of tourists. Clean room with a very nice terrace overlooking the pool. Very nice service, the owner Mrs. Katerina is a super nice person. We recommend to anyone who wants to feel the atmosphere of Greek Santorini at a good price and at the same time relax from the very many people visiting this island. Its in the centre of the island. All the public buses are centralised in this town Fira. Lots of restaurants, mini markets, shopping within walking distance. Our room is clean with a balcony facing swimming pool. Our host is wonderful, she took out a map of the island and explained all you need to know on transportation, what to see and where to eat.

The shower in the bathroom with a shower curtain is a bit small but we manage. The whole area blackout twice. Once in the afternoon. And early morning when we were getting ready to check out.

The host waited until our late arrival to personally hand us the keys and go over details of the island, bus schedule, things to do, etc. She was very welcoming and accommodation. The rooms were very clean, AC worked well, the view was nice, and most rooms have balconies. It took 30 seconds to be part of the lively main city and get to all the restaurants and bars but the street its on is nice and quiet. The bus station is also only a 5 minute walk away.

Very cosy air-conditioned apartments with a nice outdoor pool to relax. The rooms are equipped with a fridge, water heater and hair dryer. A bottle of water and coffee sachets were provided upon arrival. Great location in the city centre, walking distance to the beautiful caldera views. Close to the bus station and within easy reach to the airport, ferry port and other places of interest in Santorini. The owners are extremely kind and went out of their way to help us when we were in need.

Everything was perfect.

Was closed to the center, very clean and nice place to stay, my room was just perfect, i loved that I had a table outside, I had a nice welcome from the owner and her daughter, they give me all the information about the town or what to do. When I leave because I had my flight at midnight and I left my luggage’s at the pension, I wanted to do a shower just before the airport so they give me a room to get ready, i really recommend this pension because you will feel like home! ❤️
