Thank you Nicole and all the staff for making our stay so welcoming and relaxing. You provided everything we needed from extra blankets, to books and remembering what we liked to drink in the morning at breakfast each day. Villa Ilias is perfectly located for exploring the island by foot and in a hire car. The room was excellent, clean and comfortable, with a practical drying rack for swimwear on the balcony. Plus it was a joy to sit on the balcony taking in the stunning view of the coastline and caldarer by day and night (Room 4) as well as see the walkers heading between Fira and Oia because the accommodation is on the hiking path.

The only thing to note is the steep entrance to the parking area.

What a fantastic stay for 5 nights at this property !!! Thank you very much for having us. We couldn't have asked for anything more than this. You guys are just so friendly and very helpful. We met all the Gorges , Nicole and Marina. Everyone of you is the biggest reason why this place is successful ! <3 Thank you once again for the lovely BD gift. We shall make our way back to your property again ! Please extend our best regards to the cleaners. They did such an excellent job in taking care of our room daily.

Nothing to complain about.

The view from our balcony was beautiful! We had a room on the corner and overlooked Firostefani and some of the water. It was not a complete sunset view, but very worth it for the price. The room was clean and exactly as pictured in the listing photos. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Prior to our trip I had reached out to ask a few questions about checkin and things to do in the area. They responded quick and were very informative! Upon checkin we were given a map of the island, told about different activities we could do, and given information on transportation. They were so helpful in making sure we had a great trip! The staff helped arrange a ride for us to get to the airport, which worked out so well. The breakfast was so good! They made us fresh espresso every morning and had a buffet style breakfast. Every day they had different traditional Greek foods that we loved trying. We were walking distance to so much good food and activities that we wanted to do. We did the Fira to Oia hike, which you are essentially staying on the route. I would definitely recommend Villa Ilias!

I love everything about the property. We stayed at room 'Single room facing the pool' for 3nites Sept 2024 and our stay was perfect. The pool itself is facing the sea which we got to enjoy the view and sunset. Our reservation came with breakfast and we enjoyed the breakfast everyday. I loved the different meat, eggs and coffee that were served everyday along with bread, pastries and the likes. The location is 15mins from the shopping area and bus station and lots of restaurants around the area. The view from our room were stunning. Staff were friendly and very accomodating.

We had the loveliest stay at Villa Ilias. It was so clean and cosy, with quality bed linens and towels which I always appreciate. The view from our room was simply breathtaking. We could see the town and also the sea on both sides of the island which was lovely. You can also see the sunset from the swimming pool terrace. The breakfast was really fresh and tasty and varied every day and we really enjoyed it. But the best thing about our stay was surely the owners and staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful, from our arrival to our departure. We would definitely recommend a stay here. Fantastic value!

Fantastic location and staff. The hotel is 10 minutes on the walking path to Fira, an abundance of restaurants and shops all a few minutes away. The staff were wonderful (especially John at the front desk), everyone was helpful and friendly, they helped us organize taxis and day trips. Also the bar tender at the pool - so lovely! Always greeted us with a smile and made delicious and reasonably priced cocktails. The room was a good size, with all amenities needed - fridge, AC, hair dryer etc.

The pool area is small so do bear this in mind, the pool is more for a quick dip than swim. With 13 rooms and 6 sun loungers it can be a tight squeeze.

Where do I begin on the excellence of this stay! We were apprehensive to come to Santorini due to the crowds and busyness (we came on out honeymoon) so we opted to stay some with a pool! This place couldn’t have been a better fit! To begin the communication and staff were just amazing and made the whole honeymoon better!! They did bless us with a beautiful towel arrangement with petals (see my photos) how cute! And so above and beyond! The hotel is placed just a 10/15 walk from Fira (the main town) and has the perfect location overlooking the water. The room was the perfect side and the breakfast was incredible! They prepared daily specials and they were our favourite! If you read this - take this as our sign to book this place!!

The view from this hotel gives you a stunning view of the caldera. You also have a cool swimming pool and bar in the compound. Room flooring has a nice style of tiles that gives you a good feeling, recommend walking barefoot inside the room. Hotel is located in Firostefani, close to the square. They also have a nice breakfast in the morning to charge you up for the day. Check in was smooth and front desk is very friendly. It's only a short walk to the Three Bells of Fira and beautiful Catholic Church of St. John the Baptist. Walking is recommended to the nearby places. Good options to choose for food.

The public bus we got for going to Fira wasn't on time (that's nothing to do with the hotel though).

The view is incredible,most beautiful view of all the hotels i’ve been to,especially the amazing room over the pool is incredible,you feel like a luxury guest with a more affordable price than the other hotel villas around. Breakfast was always simple and very good with everyday something special from the house. Staff is superprofessional and kind. The bartender Giorgos is the best ever i already miss him so much,amazing cocktails. Would reccomend forever thank you very much for the amazing holiday! Michele Bellini

Everything perfect

I travelled to Villa Ilias for a short holiday in Santorini with my partner, and we absolutely loved everything about it! It is definitely one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff is really kind and welcoming, and they will go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The hotel is stunning, situated in a fab location in Fira, views are absolutely incredible and the breakfast is so, so good! Also, the swimming pool is gorgeous and the pool bar is a great bonus (plus they make the BEST cocktails there)! Can't wait to be back.
