Overall a really enjoyable stay. The location - whilst a little isolated - has amazing views and the sunrises are pretty special. The lunch and evening buffets are great and some of the a la carte restaurants (Greek and Asian) are good. I also very much enjoyed the Sushi and Healthy corner (went there pretty much every morning as the breakfast buffet is limited and I struggled to find anything I liked - and I'm not a fussy eater!) We were lucky enough to receive an upgrade on our room, which gave us (family of 3) plenty of space and really made our holiday even more enjoyable. The sports program through the day is great and the instructors are clearly very skilled and highly motivated doing their jobs.

In general the staff are great but we had some issues during our stay with the minority of staff that were not helpful. Our son has a serious allergy and things are not labeled well in the buffet area, so we often had to ask about what was in the dishes. Quite a few staff were very unhelpful, simply saying they didn't know which to me isn't acceptable for a 5 star hotel. Also general maintenance through the hotel is a bit of issue. Poolside, loads of tiles are falling off and the gym is pretty basic.

Super pools, main restaurant excellent. Lovely big family rooms. We had four nights at this resort & feel very relaxed almost feels like a week.

The themed à la carte restaurants were poor. The bathroom has a curtained bath shower - very dated.

Many years ago, during the first days in medical school, the professor told the new students in his introductory lecture: "Once in a lifetime, you have to visit Kos, the birthplace of medicine !" This summer, my wife and I finally did it. It was certainly one of the most memorable trips of our lifes and this is due - in addition to visiting the Asklepion where Hippokrates taught and practiced - to this fantastic resort. The Mitsis Blue Domes is located on a nice beach, has about ten or twelve pools as well as private pools with some rooms (we were lucky to have one of these, see pic). The whole resort meets the highest standards, everything is incredibly clean, the choice of restaurants (it's an all-inclusive) is just phenomenal. Most of all, the staff needs to be mentioned; they are efficient, helpful and immensely friendly and warm-hearted (we even shed a few tears when saying goodbye to the nice ladies ad guys in the main restaurant). The same applies to the housekeeping - when we returned from breakfast around 9 a.m., the room was already cleaned, fresh towels were provided etc. The food was fantastic, the drinks great. We ate most of the time in the main restaurant; the "theme restaurants" like Italien, Sushi etc. require advance reservation (which we didn't know - but didn't care; the buffets in the main restaurants left nothing to be desired). The same applies to the location. The airport is about 12 minutes by taxi away, to Kos City it's a 25-minute ride. In the evening, there is always entertainment, life music and/or shows. We loved to sit at the main bar area after sunset, enjoy the drinks and just be happy that we finally made it to Kos - and that we picked this fabulous resort!

There was nothing we didn't like - it is just fantastic there ! Only a word of "cultural" advice for other U.S. or overseas visitors: the majority of guests are Germans and it is definitely in their DNA - I know, I was born there:-) - to "reserve" their pool chairs by putting their towels on them as early in the morning as possible. Therefore, at around 9 a.m. don't be surprised if all pool chairs are "taken" though most are nevertheless empty. It was no problem for us - the are plenty of chairs (with umbrellas) at the beach.

I have just come back from a 7 nights holiday and have been very happy with my stay at the resort. The food was varied and delicious, the private beach was beautiful and clean, the rooms and overall resort were well appointed and the whole place was spotlessly clean. The best part of the stay was the lovely staff - polite, helpful, so very hardworking and a pleasure to interact with. The conceirge was super helpful and helped us plan all our excursions. A special shout out to Alex, thank you! There were plenty of sun loungers both at the beach as well as the pools. There are lots of pools and the resort is very spread out, so we never felt crowded in. The golf buggies were always readily available if we chose not to walk. We really enjoyed the Pan-Asian restaurant and it was a highlight of our stay. The evening entertainement was also very enjoyable and we were spoilt for choice. I would also like to mention that I accidentally misplaced my handbag (containing cash, jewellery and valuables) and the staff found it and returned it back the next day with all the contents intact.

Some suggestions for improvement - 1. The aircon in our room was not very effective during the heatwave and we found it too hot to be in our room during the day. Please review options for more effective cooling. 2. As a vegan, I struggled to figure out which dish was suitable in the main buffet as there was no food label (Ve, V, G/F etc.). Please consider labelling the dishes in the main buffet. 3. We faced some housekeeping issues where toilet rolls, towels and toiletries were not replenished when they ran out. Howver, once we called the reception, they sent them over within 15 minutes.

Nice hotel with stunning view. Pools are amazing with lots of different options for swimming. The a la carte restaurants were good but you have to book long in advance! Most of the staff were really friendly, specially Mimosa from the breakfast team. Lovely cocktails and nice atmosphere on the main bar.

The food in the buffet restaurant was average , more like a canteen. Lukewarm food and poor quality! Our room (twin sea view) next to the metal staircase was extremely noisy. After complaining for a few days and having no response, we ended up demanding another room and had to almost argue with the reception who always had an excuse but at the end a new room was given. Gym is outdated with old equipment.

This was the best resort I've ever stayed in. It's the definition of luxury. From the moment you enter till the moment you leave, you feel like a queen! Staff are just wonderful, incredibly friendly and although we only stayed for 3 days, they all remembered us (and our drinks)! They're so wonderful they even bumped our room to one with a private pool. ❤️ All inclusive means literally all inclusive, not just wine and beer, but every cocktail imaginable. What's even more awesome is that your drink comes to your lounge chair on the beach/pool, and if you have a room with a private pool, the waiter comes every hour and asks if you want some drink. Their watersports are also awesome! The buffet is huge and satisfies every taste (vegetarian/halal/pork). Some of the dishes were meh, but that doesn't matter because aside from the buffet there are so many splendid restaurant. The pita corner is a must, so is the pastry corner (awesome crepes if you missed breakfast). If you don't know where to book or what to do in Kos, just book here and don't even leave the resort.

Absolutely nothing. It was all impeccable

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We were upgraded to a family room with jacuzzi as we were on our honeymoon, which was a lovely surprise.

Problems with the booking system at restaurants near the sea. I tried to book in advance as advised by previous guests but the app wouldn't allow me to do it without a room number as it didn't recognise our reservation number. The result was having very few options in terms of lunch/dinner as the quality isn't very good except in Pita Corner and the Creperie. I wouldn't recommend Healthy Corner at all and the sushi is poor quality. However, the bars and staff are great with good selection of cocktails and lots more. I highly recommend the main buffet restaurant if you want better quality, good selection and without need to reserve a table.

lots of swimming pools, beautiful view from the main building, sport activities in a beautiful location at the beach with great instructors , small restaurants with super tasty and healthy smoothies and pancakes, never had a problem with finding sun beds, we were offered sparkling wine and some snacks on our first day with a room service, excellent restaurants a la carte! the receptionist thoughtfully sent a little buggy to transport us and our valises at the day we were leaving,

we had a room with access to a shared pool but the room was located in a way that we could not see the pool from the window, very difficult to book any restaurant a la carte due to the big demand, the water park with water slides were a bit disappointing

We really enjoyed the nice big resort property, the lovely beach and the good food at the à la carte restaurants.

Some things would need a little renovation (e.g. the beach beds) and eventhough there is a no reservation policy of beds by the pool and beach, everything by the pool is taken by 8 am and for sure longer than an hour not occupied.
