I had the pleasure of staying at Akrogiali Exclusive Hotel recently, and I can't say enough good things about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel. It truly lives up to its reputation as an "utterly clean" establishment. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. It was nothing short of perfect – a delicious and varied selection of options that catered to all tastes. The attention to detail in the presentation and taste was evident, and it set the tone for a great start to each day. But what truly sets Akrogiali Exclusive Hotel apart is its incredible staff and the warm, welcoming owners, Lazaros and Irina. This property was among the top 10 to my list of the best stays ever. The property is just 50m to the beach in the peaceful and quiet neighborhood. The suit is spacious, modern and very clean. The wi-fi is okay. There is an available free parking nearby. The hosts Irini and Lazaros are fantastic. They are friendly, pleasant and very welcoming. The food is delicious, you have breakfast with many options and a three-course set dinner served with original presentation and finesse and attention to details.

Lovely hotel run by lovely people. Everything to the highest standard - cleanliness, food, hospitality. Boutique experience which you cannot have in a big 5 star hotel. Location: Very close to the beach but at the same time secluded from the main street noise. Food: The owners are both cooking and serving the dishes - everything was fresh and high quality, prepared in a healthy way. Every night was a romantic dinner in an elegant setting. Rooms: Modern style, calming colors. I really liked that it had an entrance where you can put all your luggage and beach stuff and enjoy a clean sand-free bedroom.

The accommodation in Akrogiali Exclusive Hotel was great all the way! Big, new, modern decorated and very very clean room with all the needed amenities in it. There is a comfortable private parking which is very important for this area. Breakfast was delicious with many options! Above all, the owners were the best part. Great professionals, very helpful and always available, make their best to make your stay better!

Everything was great!

The area of Polychrono is beautiful, with a good amount of shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. There are also some really lovely walks in the area if you want to explore. The Hotel is in a perfect spot a minute walk from the beach. I love how the hotel has a small amount of rooms compared to other hotels as it is nice and quiet. Everything in the Hotel was to an amazing standard and is very clean. I had a room on the front of the building with a balcony that got full sun into the evening, and a lovely view over a small grassed courtyard, which was perfect. The food was delicious and Lazaros and his team could not have been more helpful, friendly and welcoming. This was the 3rd time I have stayed here in the past 10 years and it was just a good as I had remembered. I Would definitely stay here again.

There is nothing that I didn't like as it was exactly what I expected and was looking for. Obviously as it has no pool, this would not be to everyone's liking, however as the beach was so close to the hotel, I did not find this an issue.

Truly excellent adults only owner run small hotel. From the courtesy phone call while you on on your journey to the greeting on arrival to the excellent help a information openly offered by the owners to the superb food offered in the hotel restaurant - I really can’t praise Irena and Lazarus highly enough for the way they have established this hotel. Location is ideal - just a 60m walk from the buzzing sea front - so quiet but close to the busy evening walkabout. Private parking is close by which is a bonus in busy Polychrono.

Irina was incredibly kind, offering insights into the best nearby attractions, while Mr. Lazaros showcased his culinary artistry by preparing delicious and healthy meals for us. ☺️ The hotel’s atmosphere is perfect for relaxation, enhanced by thoughtfully selected background music that adds to the serene ambiance. The rooms are air-conditioned, very clean, and comfortable. The hotel is just 50 meters away from the beach. In every aspect, the service at Akrogiali Exclusive Hotel exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and relaxing stay.

I had a very nice stay at the Akrogiali hotel. The hotel is very well placed, very close to the beach and close to very good taverns. The rooms are spacious, with a spacious bathroom and a large balcony. Also in front of our balcony we had a beautiful fig tree. The cleaning is impeccable (the ladies from the cleaning department deserve congratulations and I appreciated a lot that it is quiet even when cleaning is done, not like in other hotels where it is not taken into account in the morning if some guests are laisy). The hosts are very welcoming and very attentive to the needs of each client. We appreciated and want to say thank you very much, again, for waiting for us until 1 a.m. when we arrived (because the plane had a 30 min delay) and our phone card didn't even work so we couldnt announce the delay.

1. Very gracious hosts. The owners Lazaros and Irina work hard and have extended us a warm welcome. This makes all the difference and is one of their key selling points. This is what comes to mind after you go away. You actually feel more like staying in someone's home than a hotel. 2. Cleanliness. Nice fragrance when you enter the lobby. Aseptic hall. The room was almost spotless, Mrs Ellada (the cleaning lady) did an excellent job. The room was not very large, but the sleeping area was separated from the luggage area and the wardrobe in the entrance hall. Smallish bathroom with a nice walk-in shower and ventilation. Change of towels and sheets each other day. 3. Air conditioning. Daikin, this is the Rolls-Royce of A/C, as Lazaros says :-). Essential piece of equipment, even during the first week of June, you would probably not be able to sleep without it. Very powerful when you need to quickly cool down the room, whereas at night you can turn it down to a breeze. 4. Clean, fresh, no-nonsense food. We had a half-board package, each evening based on fish or occasional seafood, which we did not mind for a one-week stay. That said, some guests would probably welcome more variation (I believe the a la carte menu included some pork and chicken). But you do have to consider that owner Lazaros does the cooking himself, and does a lot of running around, sometimes single-handed or with little help. 5. Quieteness. Though just 100 meters away from the beach, the hotel is located on a narrow one-way lane with virtually no car traffic other than occasional merchants. Polychrono is buzzing during the day (and was pretty crowded even in June), but becomes a tranquil place in the evening with very little to do other than dine somewhere else, take a stroll along the seaside, have an icecream, or browse a few local shops. Nothing really to write home about, and after a few days you might need a change. But we did like there were no kids.

1. Breakfast was basic, decent, but rather stingy. Just a bit more choice (and of bit more of anything, as a matter of fact) would be welcome, indeed. 2. Access. Narrow streets, especially on the way leading the property. I guess this is common in small Greek towns like this. The property has a parking nearby (about 10 places), which provides sufficient room if the other guests behave. 3. No international TV channels.

Akrogiali Fantastic hotel We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and had a wonderful time and experience. Don’t be fooled by its 3* rating as the standard and service you get is definitely 5*. The owners - Lazaros & Irina - take care of your every needs from start to finish priding themselves on good quality food and high hygiene standards. With only a maximum of 20 guests to cater for their emphasis is on attentiveness and satisfaction and nothing is ever too much. They are very friendly and approachable. The rooms are of good standard and kept spotless and the food is always cooked fresh to order. Lazaros in particular prides himself on fresh daily fish which he is always happy to show you in his daily tour of the kitchen. The breakfasts are of continental style and plentiful but it’s never too much for Lazaros to personally rustle up some cooked eggs and bacon. The location of the hotel is great too with only a short 2 minute walk to the resort promenade which has some lovely beaches, great views and lots of cafes, shops, bars and restaurants, although I would add it’s a relaxed promenade rather than a rowdy one so more suited to couples or young families. We would not hesitate to stay here again
